Before upgrading my pc, I played fallout 4 pretty much exclusively on ps4. So I got used to some creative methods for settlement builds, seeing woodys wasteland is like a dream to me.
Ive been sleeping on Atom's Glory- just assumed it was CoA stuff I wouldn't want, even though I use SLR, Cabin in the woods, and NDL. I could see mixing the stone walls with cabin pieces to make some medieval looking structures. Always felt it made sense for people in the post apocalypse to harness old-time building techniques. Also, I'm thinking there's an experimental version of Zebrina's Workshop Items for Xbox, too!
I'm a few months late, but I just discovered your channel. (Yes, I subbed.) Combined with your first "Top 10 Settlement/Workshop Mods" video these are some good looking mods. I've got some "must have" settlement mods I've found too: *Scrap Everything* - (Great for cleaning up a lot of trash and junk from a settlement but you'll have to be careful, and quick-save often, when using it since you can scrap too much.) *Auto Doors* - (Amazing mod that lets you place little devices by a door so that it will close automatically after a short time when it is opened. No more having to deal with NPCs leaving doors standing open. Can be a little finicky particularly with doors close to each other, and you will need to see if there are patches to make this combatable with doors from mods on those mods' pages.) *The Fridge* - (Adds working refrigerators and vending machines that can turn drinks "Ice Cold" in the same way Drinking Buddy does.) *Snappable Junk Fences* - (Adds snap points to the vanilla junk fences.) *Invisible Guard Markers* - (Little invisible pads that will serve as guard posts. Includes a "lean" marker were assigned guard will do the "lean against wall" animation. Also causes guards to patrol around from marker to marker.) *SnapBeds* - (Adds customizable beds. Start with a frame, snap on a mattress, and finish with a pillow.)
I use Woody's small foundation blocks as perimeter walls around my settlements. The wooden top part conducts electricity the same as vault pieces so you can have lights along the wall without having to string wires everywhere. Also, for the fireplace, that piece you place on the bottom can be used as a filler for 2 fireplaces stacked between floors.
Thanks for all these great mod reviews. I was in the process of reinstalling and choosing mods when I stumbled on your channel. I'm hooked and subbed. I love the Kuro tab, which I knew about. But it's so big I didn't know everything it had, and learned from your demo. The signs are great for decorating bars. I recruited the Vault Tec salesman as a shopkeeper, and he has a "No Ghouls" sign on his door - because I've decided that now he's actually got a good sense of humor - and irony. ;)
Such a good video, don’t apologise for the length. I could have had this longer. My biggest issue with settlement moss of this size is I find them difficult to navigate and sometimes I find it hard to recognise the new pieces and assembly methods in each - really useful to see in your sandbox space. Do more like this!
Don't be too hard on yourself about video length. You cut straight to the features with hardly any filler, and say more in a few minutes than hours' worth of reviews offering observations like "Mod X has so much I don't have time to talk about it." Honestly, thank you. Brilliant work.
Old video but it still rings true; the big hurdles to settlement building for me are the awful menu to pick items from and the fact that I am always limited to my first person character instead of a more removed overview, or an option to select a range of items to scrap without having to look for them.
Is that flat empty plane environment also a mod or is that something you can access via console commands perhaps? It makes me wonder if there's a mod that let's you create your own custom prefabs and then plop them wherever you wanted them like the shack in the beginning.

Sadly its not coming cause the creator of the mod has some life issues, and he stated he wouldnt be back for a while or ever maybe. Sadly he also stated he is not willing to make it avalible for xbox, or make anyone port it in that matter. Very very selfish and very very stubborn
It appears there is a beta port. I’m not sure if it has everything, as the original requires script extender for a lot of functions. I’ll add the link and look into it
Just HOW BIG is your workshop menu? It must be insanely huge. I've tried many building mods but found I had to limit myself to 2-3 because I could never find any of the cool things I wanted to use. LOL
I have Woody's installed and for some reason some of the stuff is just not textured, both animated and static. Do you know of any conflicts with other mods? I'm on PC. Thanks.
I love a lot of the kuro tab items but unlike you I don't like excessive redundancy, and this mod is great and all but I'd get overwhelmed navigating through all of it.
We should start a petition to make this avalible for xbox, i have been mad looking for somthing similar and it has been driving me mad. I have looked into this (Woody's wasteland stuff can be ported to xbox) Only thing is the author doesnt give the go ahead.... And why? He doesnt have to do anything someone else ports it and its over and done. It doesnt use alot of scripts and is just like uso or any other settlement building mod. But why does the author has to be stubborn... That hurts me alot
For gods sake......it takes me ages as it is to create settlements....& now with all this extra content i doubt i will ever truly complete a settlement now, about time there is a graveyard mod as before i used to have to use a combination to get the effect of earth mounds with wooden crosses, i would also like to see a hangman & noose set up for settlement law & order, need to cleanse the settlements of murderers & rapists & all those other unspeakable crimes, i mean com'on guys there is no more tv to watch so there is nothing better than a Saturday morning hanging to get the family out & about, besides the kids love throwing the rotting vegetables at the criminals, anyway thank you for highlighting these fantastic mods, unlike everybody here i have yet to complete FO4 and all the DLC's, a long story that i won't bore people with, my FO games last me a while as i refuse to run for long periods of time & simply refuse to fast travel as it's not emersive to me, FONV took me about 2 years to complete, left no stone unturned and with those bounty hunter quest mods....yeah you get the idea. I am soooo looking forward to getting a new ssd as never had one before to play this game on, trouble is my mods list is well let's just say i gotta get it down from 400 to 250 at the very least to have a smooth game, that will be difficult as there are so many amazing mods, again thanks
I found Woody's Wasteland Stuff only once before on Xbox and NEVER again has it reappeared. I looked it up on the search tab but honestly Fallout's mod search is the worst thing ive ever interfaced with in my entire life. Does anyone know any ways i can find this mod again? Any specific words i need to type in to get it to show up? I know for Place Anywhere you have to type "red zones" to find it, maybe theres something like that for WWS. I'd love to get this mod again but trying to find it is like searching for a needle in a haystack.

fallout does have a single ladder with climbing physics, in so the working ladder could of just used that instead of needing a loading screen

I’m not sure what would be causing that, but I have heard of other people having this issue. May be worth checking the posts section of his mod page
