Microblading Lessons Learned: 16 Insights from 2024

If you’re new to my channel, my name is Melissa Cutler. I've been a microblading and PMU artist since 2016. I struggled a lot in my early years and I don’t want you to have to go through the same. That’s why I’m creating free and financially affordable continuing education for PMU artists like you so you can improve without spending thousands more dollars on training and driving yourself deeper into debt or dipping into your savings.
Please note, I am sharing from my experiences and findings, and I try to stay away from stating anything as a “fact” as this industry is so experience-based. I hope you find value in this and it helps you to become a better artist, and is a small part on your way to your big dreams and plans.
To all my fellow artists - if you’re struggling with something right now, this mindset shift might help: The bigger the struggles, the more epic the story.
You either get an epic outcome or an epic story. But in both cases, you win.
I hope you never quit, and I encourage you to reach out for help to as many PMU artists as you can. Yes, you’ll get a lot of people ignoring you but you will find a select few others like me who want to help you and are willing to give advice for free.
