I was a seat filler in the audience that night. As a Jersey girl, this was thrilling! One of the top television series! Loved James Gandolfini and this entire group of actors - so well cast!
Just got back from seeing Jersey Boys in Ottawa Canada.....I was blown away--I'm sure I will see this show again! I remember watching this clip before and loved it- Thanks for sharing! James G you are missed.......
It was a bit odd (but cool at the same time) to hear these sweet, wholesome love songs, while people are getting punched & shot on the screen in the background,
Around 2009 I was in NYC by myself on a project and during the weekend I went to see my first Broadway shows, getting a single ticket was both easy and affordable. The first two stage shows I ever saw were Jersey Boys and Billy Elliot. I was so blown away, the talent of the actors and especially the kid in Billy Elliott was just mesmerizing! I can't even put it into words. The Sopranos was an incredible and historic show. When they won their awards the entire audience, all the stars, would stand in awe and applaud this great show and the actors. Nobody was offended. See, The Sopranos would never be allowed to be made in these times, not in this climate. I mean, look at the flack FRIENDS catches these days. It's wild. For the younger gens, I just wanted to say that movies and TV used to be great, and so were the awards ceremonies. They weren't used as platforms to spew ideological rhetoric. It was about the shows and the actors... those Oscars and Emmys used to hold weight. It's a shame what everything has turned into, but at least we have great shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, SOA etc. to look back on.
I had chills when they did this. Love Jersey Boys, Love the Sopranos. Mr. Gandolfini you will not be forgotten.
I miss The Sopranos ~ it was like losing my family when the show was over! RIP Jimmy!
That’s y I keep rewatching the show🤧
