    Here, that new electric setup is mint! I'm definitely having a shot at that especially since all my pilot lines are getting a bit hard and twisted a single small cable makes a lot more sense. Cheers for sharing that I'll still have to find a good microswitch that will work for the handle too

      Mate I new it would improve the start and stop times but gees I'm more than 100% happy with the speed/response time it makes a massive difference to me I've been ust to slow start up and shut down for around 10/13 year every day, day in day out that little job oh the smile on my face its like finding out that ya prick isn't just for pissing with 😆

    Hi Mick, when erecting the scaffolding, the horizontal tubes go on the vertical poles of the gates. this will stops it from tilting when building and makes it a lot stronger construction. try it, it will stand on it own with only 1 horizontal tube fitted.

    Ever thought of going to classic car meets Mick and letting folk know what you do as small parts could be posted out to you and full jobs done on site i only say this as when i was a mobile mechanic i worked on allsorts of cars vans etc iam not telling you what to do Mick just putting ideas out there as you work is Awesome one of the best ive seen .

      I appreciate everyone's ideas and opinions and some stuff what people hold back no matter how small it's nice to hear or voice an opinion 👌🙂 my take on small parts etc I'm not setup to do em static blasting is a hole different ball game yeah its the same process but cabbinates aren't always big enough then the big ones cost too much to blast smaller parts etc etc if I was to setup to do static ideally ya need a cabinet that will fit wheels in then if ya plan on wheels ya need a tyre remover then if ya going to that effort ya may as well have a diamond cutter to repair the wheels then a wheel repair machine then a ya may as well do powered coating then ya end up doing stuff I don't enjoy 😂 it's something I've looked into before it's the logical root but I just simply won't enjoy that line of work 😉

    Looks much better cleaned up, I'm guessing the house is quite old by the small mortar joints and maybe the render was an attempt to hide some settlement. Catch ya on the next one ! cheers

    Mick, was that render a cover-up job for settlement in the brick, or was it a cosmopolitan choice to cover it since some people don’t like the red brick shining onwards year after year? I can only imagine the addition of the tender could also lead to more chance of damp/humidity, since the brick can’t breathe as easily? Coming from the west coast of the USA, I’ve been enjoying your channel for some time now, but I know brickwork is much more common in the UK compared to most of the US where we rely on timber (too much). Either way, fun video and thanks for sharing!

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's unusual to see a timber house in the UK if you do it's likely to be built from blocks and then timber cladding (siding I believe the US calls it) the crack is totally my doing I have started a video but not finished the project yet 😬 I repair 2 steel beams that's holding that wall up but after using the jacks 1 moves about 5 mm but it's totally safe now and once its jonted up ya won't ever know 😎 its the lead work that's shocking water is pissing right into the house thar need fixing.
      I believe it was rendered to cover the cement backed paint then they didn't like that so grew ivy all over it 😂

    Tradesmen everywhere talk to themselves in their vans on the way to the next job. The only thing that sets Mick apart is he was smart enough to film it and keep it interesting 🤣

    What type of blasting is best for interior walls? Just bought a cottage and the previous owners have painted the interior stone walls..

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Natalie-cs6vj your best off speaking with a contractor in your area they can advise for you 👍its not a simple answer I would need to assess individual jobs to give the best advise 👍

    The definition of DIY is to do something a little sketchy that you wouldn't do if you were getting paid!

    mick, whats your opinion on slurry style pots and downstream water injection for wet blasting?

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe they are overcomplicated so they have a selling point wet ring or win nozzle are just as affective and less expensive 👍infact I would say alot more control with a ring or win 👍

      Personally I would advise getting a professional to do it if you have no or very little experience it's not something you want to learn on as a lot can go wrong fast 👍

    ..the natural brickwork is DEFINITELY more appealing than that ugly plaster/stucco/render mess ! 😇❤️
    .. brilliant use of the forklift to make it somewhat safer .. pencil yourself in a raise ( but make sure you use pencil ) 🤣😂

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sorry I don't get what you mean? Every job is different and it takes a eye to know what type of media and grade of media psi etc to use for each job. If that's what you mean?

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yeah crushed glass 👍 depending on the serface and the finish required been able to play about with psi and grades of media will help preserve the brick also angle and distance play a massive factor 👍

    Put the first horizontal piece onto the upright piece rather then flat piece next time that way it’ll hold its weight and can be lent on floor while you get the other side ready

    How much to hire such machine?

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't know as I own all my equipment last time I wanted to hire a compressor this size it was 5k deposit and £550 a week (5days) then you have the rest of the equipment and consumables. Me personally I would get quotes to do the project from a professional as the costs can add up fast and waste dose cost quite alot and someone new will waste alot of media visors derv etc etc a professional should have this nailed down and be able to offer this savings in the quote 👍

    • @namesanmanname297
      @namesanmanname297 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good reply. Not just about hiring machines, it the knowledge and experience that's more important.

    What was unsafe about ur set up then bro I'll tell the there is no HSE when it comes to DIY stop in home I had hse turned up one day on my site and cos no one is getin payed hse had no ground lol. House is looking 👌 pack that crack up with some slate 1st b4 you point it up help stop it moving any more brother

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I know HSE cannot do anything for DIY and to be fair they should have some power because some folk are nuts I've seen videos with a teliporter 15m full reach and a guy on a 4 tear ladder in the bucket up it that is nuts. And folk like that need telling at least for the NHS sake because he's definitely going to need a season ticket pulling stunts like that haha
