For those of you struggling with ideas for powers to give your Isekai characters, here's a freebie. *Preflex.* Short for "precognitive reflex," it's a psychic sense for danger analogous to the 'can tell I'm being watched' effect you often hear soldiers and hunters talk about. Preflex detects harmful and/or murderous intent, warning you of an enemy's incoming strike, because you're detecting the spike of focus in their minds as they're executing it. Thus, you can predict opponents' movements with uncanny precision. The rub is that it's a lot harder to detect a coming hit that wasn't meant for you, like if someone lashes out blindly, or uses an area-effect attack, or doesn't know you're in the way. This focus on intent also means you can't detect rocks that may fall from the ceiling, or other physical phenomena with no mind behind it. This makes it a powerful skill with very clear drawbacks.
I cant draw for crap, but I have several ideas I could pen down in novel form. One being that a bored demon lord takes pity on a hero and becomes his/her hidden guardian, all the while not knowing that said demon lord is helping him/her.

I actually thought of my own isekai story, well it's not technically an isekai because the otherworld is just a different part of the familiar world, anyway here's the premise: the main character is a Phoenix who doesn't know they're a Phoenix because they've never died before. after getting hit by the obligatory Truck-Kun their body bursts into flames and the ashes blow away to some foreign country (I haven't decided between Egypt, Greece, or Korea yet) they wake up on someone's roof with small pyrokinetic superpowers. normally getting home would be a total non-issue because the main character could literally just book a flight, but this is complicated by the fact that the protagonist is completely physically unrecognizable to everyone back home. So, deciding to stay in the country they woke up in to train with their powers, learn about the culture, and try to prove to their parents that they are in fact the same person they lost. there's also an organization called the Extinguishers, which specialize in hunting down Phoenixes and breaking their cycles of life and death in order to erase the memories that the pheonixes hold. what do you think? I'm really proud of it!

I’ve been crafting recently for a story, but I’m unsure about something. I wanted to craft a plot with ‘Re:Zero’-like elements and thought of a superpower which is basically Precognition type. Instead of being sent back in time, he instead gets his future memories from death. What concerns me is that I’m unsure if this change would help create a narrative with stakes. I mean, Subaru’s story was touching because he appeals the Otaku within me. However, I wanted this to be different. Rather than being pulled into the world, I wanted to make him go there of his own accord. But this difference feels like it would make his ‘bad futures’ more of a consequence of his choice rather than a moral failure. From what I know about Time Loop stories in general, a part of me also wants to make it so the villain is the one using this kind of ability as well, however, something just doesn’t feel right. If I make him go to the other world himself, will the story feel too much like those mass-produced garbage Isekai...? I mean, Gods are supposed to be a thing in this story. I feel completely helpless...
Hear me out here: You've all heard of Yandere, right? You all like Yandere, right? You all like issekai, right? Here's my idea: A high school student is walking to his apartment from school thinking about a series of recurring dreams about a girl with blue hair who they don't recognise but somehow know the name of, they are walking making sure to check the road for cars and/or other vehicles, however a truck slips on ice and swerves into the MC and hits him. The MC finds himself in an unknown world, with the same same girl from his dreams sitting near him, the girl introduces herself as Asu Torinson the next in line to rule the country of Silvira, the MC says that he recognises her, to which she laughs and tells him that she caught him when he fell from the sky. Asu Torinson then asks if he'd like to be her personal knight, to which the MC agrees. The MC then trains in the ways of a knight for 4 months growing ever closer to Asu Torinson eventually becoming obsessed (Yandere MC :D) with her. The knight training is mentioned but not written in much detail. The MC becomes someone who is known to Asu's enemies as the Discord Knight, due to his chaotic fighting style and unparalleled aggression.
Idea 3 is being used so much in korean and shoujo isekai novels that I decided to do something different. Normally people use the Demon King/Maou as a villain so I decided to make the Demon King the protagonist and the "hero" to be a villain.

She opened her eyes just in time to notice a cloud right in front of her. Seriously WTF?! Gradually as she was swiftly taken through the cloud, she began to notice something between her legs, and a rythmic motion of muscles. As she came out of the cloud, she looked down, WAY DOWN. At this moment she started to panic. "WHAT'S WRONG?!" A voice, only not a voice asked. "Who's that, what's going on, where am I, what am I on?!" "You're on me, as to where we are, I don't know either. I was only just hatched, and started to fly when you appeared on my back. But what's wrong? Did you see something dangerous? Are we needing to fight?" If you like this intro, feel free to run with it. I just came up with it.
What if you reversed idea 2? Like, the main character is an absolute smartass who doesn't care about anyone else and is extremely sarcastic. And then you have a look at the reverse and they're this really chummy gullible person who helps everyone and is extremely dense. Now put those two together on some epic mission or something while the reverse MC tries to teach the MC how to be nice as they (the MC MC) try to show how horrible the world is as a way to get rid of their reverse self.

In that world, he discoverers that the people there are suffering from the tyrany of a cruel royal family f cannibals. There he choses to help the people to revolt against the Royal Family by training the people with his experience as a soldier and create a new kingdom

more like in this world you are a villian, and in the other world you are a hero and it disgusts you to see yourself that way, so you change them to be more evil and you find out (after its pointed out) that you, are turning good as your other self is turning bad! your horrified.
You might want to be a professional to not plan the ending before parts, or at least need to have an idea. Some series have no potential endings and make it impossible to guess, but those series are usually made by professional writers.
