- The owner of this truck was on his way to the @MattsOffRoadRecovery Off Road Games when he had a medical emergency and ended up in the hospital. Two months later he was finally able to start making some phone calls to try to figure out what to do with his truck after it was left in a fuel station parking lot. Unfortunately in that time the truck had already been ransacked and used as a trash can by some people, so I got it loaded up and towed back to my yard to keep it safe from any further damage until he is able to get out of the hospital.

Another boring heavy recovery, your watches all subscribed to you because of your snow recoveries and you only did one this year that’s BS
So leave. No need to stick around and be a whiny bitch
Spot on with your reply Casey
I think most of us are here for the host not what he is doing
The pin of shame
What a small person you are! I hope you get the help you need!
A man is having a medical emergency but can still remember Casey LaDelle. I guess not everyone hates Casey! 🤣🤣🤣
Or he remembered him even while he was half out of it and at the hospital because he really hates Casey.
It's a possibility. 😁
Hate is strong.... :D
Can you imagine waking up from a coma and the first thing you say is Casey LaDelle ❓
And that guy thinks it is boring, my guess is that his mind is pee soup {could say something else but Casey doesn't like us using such language}
Or maybe he does hate Casey laDelle and figured out how to make that truck Casey's problem now. 😅
From a tow owner, to a tow owner, for a tow truck owner thank you for getting that out of there before anymore damage happens
Yeah I think it's a great truck for offroad but it should have four wheel drive. And if it had a nice lift and great set of 52"gumbo monster mudders then you'd have a bad ass offroad wrecker, but where it's a Ford you should replace the engine with a nice Cummins or caterpillar turbo diesel then you'd truly have yourself one badass puller outer.oh heck just take the wrecker unit and set it on a heavy Chevy now we're getting the job done. That's bad when the wrecker unit is worth more than the truck it's sitting on lol
Knowing Casey, I have a feeling that's not the last we're gonna see/hear of that truck or the guy in the hospital. Prayers sent to him. Happy Memorial Day, y'all, never forget.
And knowing Casey I would not be surprised if both the tow and the storage are free and then Casey will probably help him get it back home.
Hey Casey, I run a tow truck, and after seeing that man's rig all screwed up by crackheads, it just made me pissed off.
Can you see if you can get in touch with Matt, Rory and whoever else you can think of and get them to fix it up and put it back together for this guy.
@@sionwalsh9467him and nate with elite fleet will probably figure something out (just guessing)
@@sionwalsh9467 it would be a good patreon project
@@sionwalsh9467 That would be wonderful - but if he's still sick after two months in the hospital - I'd be surprised if he'll ever get back into towing.
Sounds like this might be a candidate for some assistance from the Helper Fund. Hope everything turns out for the owner. What a horrible situation for him. Thanks Casey!
I absolutely hate it when people think it is okay to vandalize a vehicle because it has been sitting for a bit. That rig is sweet and deserves some tlc.
Casey thank you for recovering this cranky old tow truck and giving peace of mind to a man recovering with medical issues. It is the little things in life that make a big difference. You are more than a tow truck owner and operator😊
Casey is a real life Angel.
It really does make a difference. Now the gentleman can recover knowing his truck is safe. The peace of mind will help him concentrate on healing whatever happened.
Thanks Casey for taking on this tow and sharing the pick-up. I hope the owner is much improved.
Doing your regular “What’s best for the community “ job. Thankyou.
It’s so messed up how “people” can’t just leave it alone.
Yeah, it's a wonder anyone can still go camping and leave a base camp.
@@imagseerI should imagine you can't !
We as a society no longer understand the word respect nor how to practice the meaning.
Dang..I feel bad for the guy. One for being in the hospital and then some a-holes trash his truck. Some people are the worst!
Thanks for the video.. I hope something good comes at the end of this.
Given the situation I can almost bet it was a heart attack. Casey let us all know more. Sounds like we found the next candidate for help. We need to get that truck cleaned up and gone through and fix everything that needs fixing. I don't have lots of $$$ since I found out about my cancer but I will find some to help if it's needed. Thank you Casey. ❤❤❤
Thank you Casey for being such a decent man!!!
Casey is always available to help someone in need! This time it's a fellow tow truck owner operator who while on the way to the games had a medical emergency. Truck parked for two(2) months at that gas station with I guess nice understanding owner! Casey always willing to help a individual in need! Thank You Casey, for you are a great Role model. Today that's a rare trait that is not seen, shown and not in the news! Bless You and your lovely family! Gilbert Alicea NYC
Good morning Casey. Happy Memorial Day everybody!
I had a 74 Ford with a 480 Holmes. Those booms bieng able to swing is both a blessing and a curse because you can upset your center of balance fast. When your hanging off a forest service road that is NOT what you want!! I adapted a set of semi trailer landing gear for outriggers and it helped...some..
Old school mini rotator!
I thought at first that I built that wrecker in Texas it the early 80’s the cab is ‘72 or earlier, gas tank behind the seat. I put together around 10 or 12, 480 & 440 setups on older Cab & Chassis back in the late 70’s early 80’s . That’s why I watch all the Utah guys and some guy from Oregon, making sure you keep it going.
Again, compassion, common sense and straight good heartless, comes to a head, of which you are known for doing. Many thanks for your actions and beliefs. World needs more folks to use you as model.
Hope the drivers going to be okay 🙂🙏
Thank You for towing and storing this for the man in the hospital ❤️ Your kindness and compassion for others is amazing. Stay safe out there and God bless❤️🙏
Thank you Casey for doing this. When you find more out about the driver, maybe you tubers could help fix up the truck. Many blessings to you snd your family. 👍
wow, being in the hospital for almost 2 months after an emergency, i hope theyre actually ok.
He'll need to file for bankruptcy at the least. Hopefully, things will start looking up from here.
@@Makapo3791 yea, theres a lot to do now, and theres definitely more to the story
You are a good man Casey. Hope the owner recovers. Love to hear more of the story on that rig some time.
Good morning Casey you are a nice guy and the gentleman knew that he could trust you and his truck would be safe and secure with you
Good morning Casey. Glad you are helping the man out. Hope he is feeling better. Praying he gets well soon and gets his truck back on the road.
I live in Sisters. That truck was off the 20 outside of town for months. His truck was covered in more stuff than that. Someone cleaned it before you picked it up. I Feel bad homeboy was living in it… Thank you for helping somebody in need brother. Deeds of kindness is what this world needs more of.
Casey your such a good person for helping this guy and to take it somewhere safe so thieves don't steal or destroy it more
Thanks for taking care of that guy Casey.
I'm sure the gentleman is watching and appreciating the recovery.
Great to see this kind of recovery on Memorial Day, 🗽🍁🌹
Please take a moment and remember the givers today,
Givers = emergency responders and our military.
Glad to see you helping someone out… again…. Good job Casey!!
Would make a great project truck for a off roader if the gentlemen wanted to sell it, Thanks to Casey for helping out
I sincerely hope the guy makes a full recovery
Sounds like a great use for some Patreon money!!
Nope, I have a much bigger plan for Patreon that we are currently working on
Nice job, Casey!! Can't help feeling sorry for the guy. He's obviously got a lot to deal with and can use all the help he can get. Kudos to you, Casey for doing the job!!!
I pray the owner gets better and can use this ol truck again. God bless😢😢😢😢
Jamie Davis would love that set up he is all about old school 😂
I am all about old school also
I hope he is going to be OK. Judging by some of the stuff, I am worried that they striped the engine of the carb and stuff. When I started driving tow-truck my first was a 72 Chevy with a Holmes 480. Still love those units. Good job Casey. I know you will treat him right when he comes to get it.
Remember the fallen, for if it was not for those who give their life - you would not be free.

Came home but a number of those around him didnt'.

You’re a saint Casey.”
There should be more service folks in the world like you.!
Will sign up for patreon..
Casey, thank you for all you do! Cheers!
What I appreciate about your videos is how organized you keep your equipment and supplies! Your work is so efficient! Thanks
So Sad , Thank You . Happy Memorial Day . A fine reminder .
It worked smoothly because you know exactly what you are doing.
...and he's good at it, like he *always* says. 😅
Thats what I loved when I was a tow truck driver, the interesting calls. I too have been called out to tow other tow trucks. One was for an old tow truck, obviously sold by the company because the tow truck was now being used to pull a small boat on a trailer. All of which was blocking a driveway, thus the reason I was called out. The second time I can remember was, I got called out to tow a medium duty tow truck for one of my broke down coworkers who was on a tow himself. So I towed his truck while he was hooked up to his customer. Kind of like hauling doubles and yes, I have my doubles/triples endorsement 😆
Please keep us updated
Casey, you are a good person to help this guy out!
Poor man gets his truck messed up plus in hospital...Good you collected Casey...Stay safe and catch you on the next one
Hope the driver is getting better. Thank you for helping him Casey!
you are the best, thanks Casey always watching and supporting you
I’m and old tow truck driver I had a 1965 B Model Mack tow truck you do great work
Just a thought for a project - make a midi (mini) Zak lift like truck from your small wrecker - make that lift interchangeable with the lift you just saved, then add a stake bed and used U-Haul body. May turn out to be a handy small truck to have around. Just a thought. Thanks for helping out someone in need.
A stroke an happen in a moment and be slow to recover from ... hoping the owner heals up. Thanks Casey.
Good working man you're a credit to tow truck drivers. Have more of Riley on screen my, wife days she is so cute and we like hearing from her
Another awesome video Casey, thank you for bringing us along and don’t listen to the jerks that leave bad comments you do a great service for people. 👍
You are more than a Great Guy Casey and I am SOOOOO VERY PROUD to wear your Shirts ❤👍🏼🙏🇺🇸
Fine job Casey, when i first saw that tow truck i thought i wonder how many tows that ol truck has done. That is a cool ol tow truck. Thanks for the video bro.
Have a safe Memorial Day 🙏
Remember our veterans and our fallen 💙 that gave us freedom. Thank you for sharing this video!😊
Tell COOTER we hope he gets back to hazard County LOL glad you could help Casey
Its a basket boom i had that wrecker bed on my 73 ford f 500 awesome rig
Good morning Casey.
Great job. Thank you 😊
Thanks!
Happy Memorial Day!!! Remember the fallen!!! Sad that people ruin other people’s property! I hope the owner recovers quickly!
Hope the guy who owns that wrecker get well soon. It sucks that people can't leave other people's stuff alone and have to steal and tear up things they find if left alone for a while. Also hope that if that truck is the owners lively hood that it doesn't cost him too much to get it fully operational again once he is out of the hospital.
"SMALL PEMS, BIG DREAMS"
Good luck to this humble man.
It’s a 71 lol
Super cool truck! I wish the owner well. If he doesn’t want to keep it I would love to have it! I have a 4x4 frame that would fit perfectly on!
1971, if the grill from the 250/350 trucks carried over to the larger models. That's the only year that had that 12-hole (two rows of three hole) grill. (I've got a 71 F-250.)
Thank you. I knew someone would identify the year. I knew it was early 70s but was guessing 72-74.
I appreciate your input.
I have a 79 F-350 4 x 4 Automatic but wish it was a standard. Love them 60-70's trucks.
my first tow truck driver job was a 1978 f 350 460 manual trans it lasted forever 440 holmes and worked for a junk yard aka auto recycling lol south side chicago i was working 12 hr a day 7 days a week nothing i towed slowed it down happy times
Even has the crank to raise and lower the booms.
Damn! The guy has some serious health problems. I hope he recovers well and soon.
Dude must be real sick. Check out the lowboy wreck on VN24.
Hope the owner recovers.
That looks like one of the easier tows you’ve done.
That’s a crappy deal and you are awesome to help this guy out.👍👍👍
Sounds like you may have just adopted a baby wrecker, Casey.
I'm guessing kind of seemingly random name drops from time to time come with the TH-cam notoriety?
I'm not going to speculate to much on what kind of medical emergency he had, just thinking, that long of an illness, and hospital stay, many times ends up with lifetime of specialized follow-up care.
Stay strong feller, whoever, wherever you are.
Way too go !!! You’re an amazing guy for helping people. Not much of that happing these days
I'm still running a Homes 480 boom for exactly reasons you pointed out! I love my trucks self-recovery abilities! I've refused to upgrade to a modern deck even when the company offered it to me free!
Looks like a 1971.
Good man Casey.
i enjoy every video. great job Casey.
Wheel lift is a Kooima kar kradle they were made in sioux falls south dakota. Several of them were mounted here in the midwest.
Looks like my dad's old tow truck. I still have it. It's a chev. But you get the era. My dad used his tow truck as a daily sometimes to go to his hospital appointments. He's no longer with us. Hopefully this fella pulls thru.
Hope the guy makes a full recovery 🙏
Funny seeing your big rig next to that one, makes it look like a cartoon vehicle
Whoa flashback. I swear that the same old tow truck towed my Duster from somewhere near Gilchrist, OR, or Chemult, back to Diamond Lake Resort, in the mid 1980s. The tow gear is different, but the cab looks exactly the same. Memorable- the light bar vibrated loudly against the roof for the whole ride.
Theres 2 types of people. Type A are the type who would go into the middle of nowhere to recover a stolen RV trailer and make sure the camera doesn't see inside because it contains the owners private stuff and the type A person respects the owners privacy. Type B person goes through another person's truck while, i assume, the owner of that truck is in hospital fighting for their life. If you didn't put it there, it ain't yours. Leave it alone. Hope the guy is recovering well.
Salut Casey!!
You call "this" a wrecker?? "Wreck" is better word. 😂 OMG...good thing you ware able to tow it in one piece!
...another neat feature of those old Holmes is the top sheave you had your hand on when U climbed onto the bed, U can easily remove the cable from the rear sheave & rotate the top one around to the front to pull off the front of the truck...& on the 750 & 850 U Can extend the booms out...though by hand!
Seen this truck 3 weeks ago hood up at the top of dry canyon. Couple days later seen on hwy 20 across from where its parker there.
I like the way you work bro.safety first
Nice old Wrecker
That is First Wrecker I drove back in the early 80
Thought that was a weird teuck for you to be haulin- figured it was a "shenanigans".. 😆 that's me, as the vid closes hahahah
That truck was completely un-road worthy !! I truly hope you get paid for this job and are not left with it in your yard forever. greetings from Australia
Excellent drive tires
A while ago, I saw a rollback with a tow truck on it towing another a tow truck 😎
Now imagine all that behind a heavy wrecker...
Sounds like something Casey would do.
I hope the gentleman is feeling better.😊
I think you are going to end up the proud owner of that truck !! He's going to give it to you for the tow. put the body on one of the dodge's and you will have the good off road set up.Keep moving forward !
that sticker on the corner of the bed @ 12:50 😆
I think being tall and lanky is helpful when you're a tow truck driver.
Casey can reach clear underneath a vehicle from STEM to Stern....
Lanky Ladelle.
That's your new nickname!
