this woman definitely dedicated herself to helping others!!!! she helped me when even my own family couldn't! lived at the harbor for 4 years! got my life back on track and understood that helping others can heal yourself! an act of kindness allowed me to see the good in myself!!! she will forever me missed and always loved!!! she gave us the formula and tools needed to survive with hope and love ❤️
I have followed Twinkle closely for years - Her camp style system I consider to be an exemplary model for homeless reform - New residents would have to work their way up in her camps for entitlements - This style of leadership of work and reward has been the most successful model of reforming the lazy into the productive. She had empathy , compassion and the the right balance to maintain strict camp rules . Her dream was for the State to give her land and resources to broaden her efforts . She didn’t trust politicians and was always apprehensive- some years ago Josh met with her discussing the homeless and the associated challenges- I was amazed how her relationship and interaction with then LG Green grew - I consider those days as a breakthrough in adopting the Ohana homeless model . She was truly a remarkable woman 🌸
@@optimaltraininghawaiihealt2994 Nanakuli’ high school 89’ Russ K.. Mr Gomes- They loved her . She even took time acknowledged people at there worst (midnight Jib) and hooked Haoles like me up with connections
If she was there in 2003’ at free Hawaii’s giving out everyone’s 600$ monthly security n survival benefits I as a Haole know & remember her very well,, tight community in the day - Wild West at night - she was there pride n Joy’ lots of good people there
