It’s not easy tho we fucked up so many times to master doing our own hair I been doing mine since I was 10. Shit definitely pays off in the end

I wish I had someone to teach me how to braid down my own hair..... That's the only part I just can't seem to get. I love seeing people who do such a great job on their own hair. It would save me $350 every 2 months.
You can find someone who will braid it for you so all you’d have to do is sew it in. You’d still save a lot of money until learn to braid. Or have a family member or friend do it for free.

Absolutely not, I just use one because my hair is a little fine so it helps my sew in last longer especially because I shampoo my hair weekly.

Hi I was wondering if the process is the same even with a middle part
Absolutely, it’s actually easier with middle part and even flatter because the hair is placed evenly around the head oppose to with a side part where more hair is placed one one side of the head. Lol I hope that made sense.

I pulled the hair up into a high ponytail and sewed. I hope that makes sense.

Correction… Oil IS good for the scalp
Yes but it’s not the best option, and sometimes people go overboard with the oil because they don’t know any better so my professional recommendation is always shampoos and serums that specifically target scalp issues. Too much oil on the scalp will give you an adverse effect. I have a video all on heathy hair care if you wanna check that out!

The leave out for the part and front perimeter yes, but for the back it depends on the way the unit is constructed. If you send me a picture on Ig I can tell you if it’ll work or not. @sky.onjahnae

I found that this technique was not useful on shoulder length hair. It was a waste of time for me.
