Good video with useful info! I own a 2.4 tigershark and can confirm that 5w-30 oil helps a lot with reducing oil consumption. Funny enough the Fiat Toro with the 2.4 specs using 5w-30 oil and those owners do not report many if any oil consumption issues. It appears 0w-20 oil is far too thin for the engine design tolerances and is only recommended in the USA due to EPA and Cafe standards with no regard to what the engine is spec'd to run in other countries or what is best for the consumer in regards to oil consumption. Had it been sold in the USA being recommended to run 5w-30 we probably would not hear of many oil consumption issues either.
