I think the set up looks pretty damn good for a slightly dated plane. I saw a mock up of what the new 777X is going to look like in the interior (if it’s ever going to become ready!) and the windows on it are huge! In fact everything looked bigger on it! As always, thanks for taking us lot with you 😊 p.s I love the little bag 😍
Watching you peruse the food dishes made me feel very peckish!! And swilling it all down with champers is my idea of heaven. Very unlike an RAF VC10 to Oman in the 70s or a Tristar the Falklands in the 80s! Great video again Dale. I like your new TH-cam opening credits, It’s a shame you didn’t call it Mr Dales Diary? lol.
I’ve been waiting for your review of Thai with interest Dale. Thai Airlines do have some dated planes - and this is one of them. What the plane lacks in the “you beaut” updated and newer aircraft, they make up with the inflight service. I’m a fan of Thai, and haven’t had an ordinary flight with them. Safe travels my friend 🥂
Interesting video , the settling into the aircraft was interesting , wipes and champagne, sounds like how i got into trouble in my youth . Nice general adventure . 👍☕
Was that Beerenburg jars I spot towards the end there? Surprised to see Australian made stuff being served.. esp given it's from where I live in South Australia. Anyways, great vid and thanks for sharing with us Dale
Planes, trains...and automobiles? Need to do a auto trip and that would complete the circle. As usual some good commentary and entertainment. Still planning our Europe trip in May - June 2025 so long as the world does not go crazier by then. Your clips gives us an indication of what to expect. We did a Camper van trip in New Zealand and enjoyed every minute...maybe a suggestion for the Automobile clips.
I was lucky enough to fly Thai First class on the 747. Not many planes where you sit in front of the pilot. Oman air business class used to be lovely. But now they cram as many people in as possible. The really great days of business and First are gone now. People seem to be so rude. Staff over worked . Sadly those days will never return.
Nice video Dale, always nice to seethe mints make an appearance as well :) The buffet in the lounge looked great, were they policing it or could you fill up on ice cream if you wished? :)
Heard mixed reviews about Thai. Glad you had a good trip. £1285 isn't bad although I'd rather a direct flight for that fare (to France CDG in my case) or to LHR if I lived in the UK.
Well Dale the food looked interesting what was the last meal we saw before landing i must say the Asian airlines seem to do a very good job compared with European ones hope you enjoyed the trip and thanks for sharing it with us all the best mate, mark D
that was funny at the start when you asked about showers she said Yes Please it sounded like she was saying Yes Pleas take a shower quickly you stink charming I'm sure lol
First or business class is not for me, I would sooner have the food they serve in economy and hopefully pre book a window seat and sometimes get two empty seats next to me to lie down across for a decent sleep on the long hauls Lhr/Bkk~bkk/Lhr with Thai,. I can’t justify paying silly money for 1st/business seats and we all get to the same place at the same time anyway, £800 ish for my round trip usually, your £1285.26 only got you to Frankfurt and then there is the Frankfurt to uk cost ?,. Why not do HK to Bkk and then do a direct flight bkk/ Lhr ? unlike yourself most of us aren't on train drivers wages so its horses for courses, cheers,.
you made great content, as usual . but I did find some of it "out of place" and irrelevant. your obligatory shower scene. it made sense showring on a train. but we have all showered in a hotel room, j
@@michaelandersen-kk4fc For anybody wanting to travel on the same flight as he did, it would be passing on valuable information about being to shower in the hospitality suite at the airport. Anyway, l can't speak for Dale, but l'm not sure that he was making a particularly 'serious' vid, he was just passing on his experience of these journeys.
food looks great and fantastic service safe travels
Business class, good food, champagne. Sounds good to me 😊 Thanks for the video and for taking us with you.
Nice one Dale, looked great flight and meals good. Impressed managed 4 hours sleep, on and off! Thanks for sharing. 😊 👍
If it wasn’t for my bladder I may have slept longer 🤣
Another great trip
Very nice trip

Thank you. I did have a good trip thank you. I hope to go back again and explore more of Hong Kong

Ooh my Dad was in Oman in the 70s possibly on the same plane 😮
@@Skins66-b3q The planes not that old !,.
I wouldn't know where to begin with all that food. Nice one Dale. All the best.
brilliant review i enjoyed it
I hope that the flight and the accommodation were well. It was nice to travel with you. Thanks for sharing this video and see you at the next one 👍😁
Good to see you looking after yourself,Dale……..and why not? You work hard enough for it.
That buffet at the start looks lush!

The soundtrack you added caught me, both times. I found it funny, but suitable as well.
Nice trip sir I see Thai flight not really luxurious but it has good things that can make a person smile
Great video dale
Nice trip Dale on the lovely 777-300ER 👌
Nice one Dale, enjoyed this series. Not a bad price for an 11hr flight too.

It sounds like an ordinary business class flight “ it will do the job” you mentioned so many times lol😂

Was that Chang Lager? When I lived in Thailand we used to call it Elephant beer, very nice. 👍
It was yes. Not a bad beer but I have had better

It was steamed chicken thighs and rice can’t remember the rest
Was it cheaper to fly to Germany rather then straight back to UK? will there be another video on how you got from Germany to England
You will get plenty of opportunities to do this when the underground is o n strike next month
Which countries did your route fly over? How was the layover at Frankfurt Airport?
£1285 one way i spat my cornflakes out im going in economy lol
At last ive found my brother and soul mate,...

How can you sleep with the jet engine noise?
I find it's passengers and crew walking around that disturb me.
I manage and i sit at the noisy end of the engine,
You flew over Uktraine and Kiev? Is it safe? (I am from The Netherlands and we lost MH17 back in 2014 because the Russians shot it down)
