Kathleen Wingerson hi Kathleen. Can I ask what size packing tape you use? I live in Ireland and only seem to be able to get 2 inch but i think I probably need it wider than that or the bauble may be too small. Regards and thank you 🎄
Hi Carrie. I purchased the tape from Amazon. This the product description from Amazon: Uline 2.6 mil Packing and Shipping Tape, Clear 3" x 55 Yds (S-1893) I know they sell in the UK, hopefully, you will be able to purchase from them. Any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Kathleen
Thank you so much Kathleen. I bought the 2 inch yesterday and I am going to make some with 3 smaller baubles but will still get the larger tape. Happy crafting. Carrie 🎄
Just found you and this tutorial today. I am a newbie to card making and I am planning to make this lovely card for this year's Christmas cards. Realized I was still too inexperienced to deal with intricate dies/adhesive...ok to start but not pleased with final result. So-found your video and fell in love with the simplicity and the lovely design. ???--I assume you used a 1/8" ribbon? May have missed instruction. ???--So-how to make sure tape adhesive does not get through to the envelope or other???? That is my question. Believe I understand most of the rest but hubby said.....oooh- you may have tape sticky that will catch on envelope, etc. Thanks much in advance, Clancey Mitchell
When you rub the glitter into the sticky side of the packing tape, it sticks to the adhesive, so it will not stick to your envelope. Yes, I used 1/8" ribbon for the bow. I hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me! kathleenstamps5@gmail.com
