I made this for my best girlfriend for Christmas this year. I can't wait to send it to her. This is one of the most beautiful handmade card ideas I've ever seen and I thank you so much for sharing it with us!
I am new and in Australia. I love this card but I will need to watch this video a few more times. I love your accent and I can tell you the ages of you grandchildren or most of what you said. My eyes kept wandering off what you were doing while I listened. I did hear Cricut and I have one. I have albums of embossing folders and two different sized machines to put them through. Most never used. I am an artist that paints but I like trying to make cards. They are terrible but creative doesn’t mean in every department. This is your department and I like trying. I was going to sell a whole walk in closet of craft stuff I had built under my stairs. My paper and card stock racks take up a whole wall and they are taller than I am. Yes, I try to scrapbook too but I do that my way. I am not saying it is a good way but my kids ask why I don’t just paint and leave those poor photo’s in a box. 🤣 Thank you.
Wow you were not joking Edith it is a lovely card indeed it looks very classy thank you for making and sharing your video , you are a very talented lady
The " Grand Madison Window " Die by Poppystamps works great for this project ! It also offers window box & fabulous shutters as accessories !!! The window comes in 2 sizes with matching accessaries available. I bought the largest size for a 5x7 card, they have a smaller size also. The shutters are phenomenal in the detail & dimension, so are the window box & window. So useful for cards of any Season or event.
I am sorry about your house you have a big house I love it. Your husband fire place is beautiful. Thank you sharing this video . Your shop is nice too. Hopefully now they can get in there and get your house put back together in fair amount time.
Thank you for including the Cricut Window File # in your video! OMG I didn't realize just how many "window" files were in Cricut so the file # was very helpful indeed. I don't have a window die so being able to create the cut outs in Cricuit llowed me to work on this great project! Thank you for sharing this project with us.
I’m making 16 of these cards for family and close friends. I found the Martha Stewart punch on EBay. I used a white glitter card stock for the tree I found at Hobby Lobby. I ordered the windows from a vendor on Etsy as I do not have a Cricut. It is beautiful!
I made some of these cards and they turned out so pretty. I didn’t have any shiny paper so I used glitter paper - some in teal and some in red. I love these cards and I’m excited to give them to my friends at Christmas. Thank you, Edith!!
I used to have a lot of cards hubby swore he was going to put me out in the shed w/them lol, great idea to give some away. I have adopted a retirement home so that has helped a lot luv ; )
Lovely card, when I demonstrate and have lots of cards I give them to an elderly person home//hospice they are always happy to have them to give to the residents/patients that can not get out or have a limited budget to buy cards for their families, thank you for sharing your ideas
Lovely card, great use of mirror card, looks like the light is on behind the tree also gives the impression that there is glass in the window frame. The greeting finishes it off very nicely.
Was searching for a card making vid, and found you. Love this. A young woman posted lotz and lotz of stuff to make cards. A lot of it was new never opened. Bought so much from her for pennies on the dollars. And now that I’ve found you, I am off and running. Love this and the way you talk us through it. Merry Christmas
You are one of the best teachers out there. You cover everything we need to know to create too. I love that glue also the magnet with pin idea. Thank you.

Edith...indeed your creative mojo is creatively working! Your card is stunning! Thanks for sharing this!! I just admire your God-given talent! God bless!!!
Hello great to see you. Prays and hugs. Can you tell me why the glitter glue, when I use it my papers do not lay flat. Can you tell me why you think that is what happens. I was so looking forward to see the vintage boxes, but I could not find you. Where can I see that the next time
That card is beautiful. Ha,we have 3 things in common - can't cut straight without my paper trimmer no matter how hard I try,I always wind up with ink everywhere, and most importantly......I must have some bling! I enjoy your tutorials very much.
I will admit, I almost passed this over because it looked to complicated for me as I am just beginning my card making. I am so glad I didn't! This is so pretty!
