About to do the same with my AU Chasing a stiffer lower ride for drifting, Getting mixed input as to which leaf I should flip Top leaf or 2nd leaf? Also interested on a rough height for the jig you made because I've got an AU and BA to do soon and that looks alot better than using G clamps 🤣👌🏼
@@riyaadjohaadien6156 I need to do a video on how I done my xr6 xh I turned number three leaf over leave the main leaf alone otherwise it’s way to much my way still drops it about 2.1/2 to 3 inches but it still has movement but not much how works is as you corner the leaf that flipped is pulling the inside of the body down through corners and my way eliminates axle tramp gives more grip at high speeds and works really well because it still acts like a spring not a stiff bord with no give my old man showed me the correct way years ago as it was what speedway drivers did on the inside rear wheel to make his race car handle and get grip on the dirt track circle
thanks man only video i could find on falcons
same and just got my xh last week
We do a variety but mostly falcons of all models. If theres anything you want more on let us know
Damn flipping the leaf springs turned the truck white thats amazing
Looks great mate, top advice.
Good stuff man. Love the jig and scissor jack.
I used to use booker rod and big f clamps but the amount I do i had to make a jig haha
Does it change the feel of the ride?
Great video looking for something like this to do to my ED falcon wagon
Heya mate any luck lowering your wagon? I got a ea wagon with 2inch blocks but still feels abit solf

Flip the leaf that has the eyes that bolt to the shackles. That's how it lowers the vehicle (eyes going the other way)
What difference in height did this make?
Fuck yes cobba best instructions ever
ok cool but how much suspension travel do you lose ? it must bottom out all the time now.
That's what I'm wondering as well
I love it
How much does ride quality change if at all?
Yes lol
what rims are those mate?
nice music
That’s one way I do different don’t flip the top leaf
How do you do it if i may ask

Why do i leaf flip?
Make ute lower
stuck tailgate
Lotta friggin' hassle when you can just use lowering blocks
That's exactly what I was thinking 🤔
