    Edey played against flip last year…he has also played against dickenson for 3 years at Michigan so it’s not like it will be something he hasn’t seen…stretch 5 could be an issue but he has handled it every time he has matched against it so far

    Edey does with players hanging on him every play and the refs don't have the guts to call every foul. The play after they called the hook and hold, they did the same thing, and it wasn't called. They were just daring the refs to call every foul and they just won't do it.

      Every play that guy gets fouled. It’s crazy the beating he takes.

    Great commentary fellas! Zach having to guard the permitter is something that can be our achilles heel, however I don’t think Purdue played to their full ability and still beat an absolute gauntlet of teams. People have their jokes of the past but that’s all they are, the past. If you follow college ball this is a different team that can make waves. Also, Marquette are an absolute tank, Shaka is a hell of a coach and stand up guy. Hard to not root for them when you aren’t matched up against them. Kolek is a baller and I don’t want to play them again unless it’s for a national title.

      Purdue did well, they made their 3s in the 1st and made some tough shots in the 2nd. No one questions them in November. Big 10 is soft and so they'll need to muscle up and play a chip on their shoulders come March.

    How do you guys get so little views? Baffles me - boiler up!

    Purdue and Marquette have proved their final four worthy. What other teams have proved it on the court against real competition thus far? Purdue still has Alabama and Arizona on the schedule.

    Purdue needs to ignore the commentary and just play the next team.

    When Purdue gets to the sweet 16, then I will start listening. They have to prove it in March.

      Come up with something original. If that's all you have to say well, we've heard it.

      @kirkrehm9972 Don't lose to a high school team in the first round, and you will not have to hear that, buddy lmao. Have a blessed day.

    More dominating than Shaq at LSU?

    Purdue absolutely trashed Duke and their “stretch” 5 last year…I don’t see why it would be any different this year.

    WhT about the 3 pointer a/ half! They can beat them.

  • @jpsf37miller48
    @jpsf37miller48 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Purdue guards were constantly beat off the dribble…that should be commented as a major weakness because if Edey can be pulled away from the basket, Purdue has no way to prevent easy layups. Happened many times against Marquette.

      @amypetrone2194 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think if an opponent is a really good 3-pt shooting team, then Zach comes out to help and we just take the possibility that they might get easy layups. If a team isn't as much of a threat, he stays close the basket.

      Ding ding ding! Containing the dribble drive is the Achilles heel for this team. Unless they get much,much better they will always be vulnerable to being beaten by teams like Marquette, Michigan St, Arizona and Creighton

    Tyler, you obviously know nothing about Wilt, Ralph, Tim, Patrick, and Shaq. “The most dominant in a hundred year”????

    Marquette is a dirty team. Watch their intentional arm holds that drew flagrant 1s in Maui. Marquette is disgusting

      I watched every MU game last year. Dont recall a single player being ejected from any game. What stats support your claim? Every team that plays Edey will have defenders get their arms tangled up with his.

      In college, hmmm. It's hard not to combine pro, or lack of, with college play.
      That's a research paper that needs metrics to define across generations of players and rules.

      To me in college since I’ve been watching (‘66) Kareem and Walton were on another level. Next tier would be Sampson, Olajuwon, Shaw, Robinson, Duncan. Edey is clearly in that mix.

    • @amypetrone2194
      @amypetrone2194 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My only counter would be the level of player that these people went up against. The college basketball player is stronger, more physical, quicker, than players of Kareem and Walton's time. Not they wouldn't have been able to compete but it's an entirely different game now.
