Assuming you wouldn't mind not using a shield, windcharges could be off-handed while holding a mace in the main hand. Wind charges thrown while falling can also work as an alternative to waterbuckets. Might be a possible way to end off a wind burst combo but haven't tried it out myself yet.
I took some Wind Charges with me to fight the End Dragon (only my second time killing it) and found they were excellent for preventing all fall damage I would have taken when it flung me into the air. Like a much easier clutch water bucket, which I am neither skilled or brave enough to attempt, you can throw it under you before hitting the ground.
@@Finity_twenty_ten Slow fall is the best option if you want to negate fall damage, but there are options that a slow fall potion doesn't have. Wind charges can be stacked to a much higher quantity than potions as well as having the option for ranged offense. It's not a bad alternative if slow fall isn't readily available and easier to use than water buckets if there's lag.
For flying it’s really good to have your chest plate in your hot bar since you can quickly switch between it to deactivate your elytra. Also wind burst works if you do a smash attack on an armor stand!
Mojang: Here’s the Warden, you are not supposed to fight it as it will kill you. Also Mojang next update*: Also here’s the mace, you can one shot anything now! 🙃
Hi pix, I believe in Java the warden has the most hearts at 250, then it’s actually the wither at 150 (somewhere in the region of 300 in bedrock), the elder dragon has 100 and the iron golem is 4th with 50 (Ravegers also have 50), just above the elder guardian at 40. Hope that was a helpful clarification 😊
I think that density damage chart might have been incorrectly adding only a constant damage amount. The bonus amount should have been per level and block fallen, as mentioned in the calculation afterwards. There should have been an ever-growing gap between the base damage line and density damage line.
One thing I've learnt from @fWhip is to always have a chestplate prepared in one your slots, to be able to replace the elytra with it. It's a one click action then - just press digit and right click to take off the elytra and reinforce yourself with a brand new chestplate

There is a possibility of creating a chain of mace attacks using wind charge 3 would recommend using 2 tall fences and have a 1 by 2 area so you can use a wind charge and start in the first area then back between the rest of the fences Would recommend using mobs like sheep or cows that have a big hit box my best is 7

Note: Breach and Density are also available via Librarian Villager trade. Unfortunately for me, while I was attempting to get Mending, I kept getting either of those two trades. Yes, a novice Librarian can potentially offer Density III and Breach IV. Last things I needed on a new server
Something not mentioned that I am curious about: what effect would slow falling have when using a mace? Does it have a negative effect on damage? Does it provide more time to set up a hit? Or the second, third, fourth hit? Or would it bollox the whole thing up?
The mace is totally overkill for normal single player worlds - though it is a way to cheese a wither, which on Bedrock could be worthwhile since you are not spawning it into bedrock to completely cheese it. In PvP, however, it shines. A 10 block drop into a crit attack is enough with either Density V or Breach IV (the top levels), to take out a player in full Protection IV Netherite armor according to the Wiki. That does mean that Density remains the best option if you are looking for one hits against difficult players. That is a lot less than what you need for an anvil drop or velocity arrow.
At 8:58 I caught a glimpse of a block of emerald ore…how can you just leave that! I’ve yet to find emerald ore even just once, I have plenty of emeralds from trades and whatnot, but man, I can’t find ore in the high mountains let alone in deep caves.

How do bane of arthropods and smite work with the mace? Do they work the same as they do on swords with a basic addition to the damage against the specified mobs or do they work like the density enchantment but better against the specified mobs?
Can't you just hold a windcharge in your offhand to not worry about the chargetime from swapping to the mace? I feel lile offhanding charges and mainhanding the mace would be the way to go. I mean with some proper training you can easily avoid enemy attacks by jumping arpund with charges

ok, I have a silly question: What would happen if you fell from world height on a charged creeper at bedrock? Would it blow up a block of bedrock? I am guessing that the creeper would have to be corralled in a berry fence or a hole or something. And, you would have to have excellent aim, which I do not possess.
I'm thinking: is the damage of the mace constrained by world build limit? If not, I could imagine exciting attempts from even higher heights, just by removing the elytra once high enough. (Or dismounting a pig in a boat)
There are so many tools and weapons to carry, there really needs to be an update for inventory. Even if some are not in your hotbar for quick use, they are taking up space.
