Thanks for sharing your no prep journey with us. This is super helpful for those of us who are very new to setup and progression. Cool that you are getting your kid involved too. I look forward to that day with my son too.
Just some advice, tell your son to focus on the rear tires & the groove not the front. Burnouts are never straight. But I’m so happy to see the truck getting faster!
I think they work because you’ve got a lot of big names doing it and winning. Some people just make it seem like you have to have it and that’s the only way to win. There’s plenty of people winning that don’t have long travel stuff
If it’s just you and your son try having him back you up with him reaching in and steering the truck while you guys are going backwards may help. Idea from how street racing channel used to have to do it when it was just the father son
@@RegularGuyGarage ah full race truck then 😂 would say hang the door open but not always a ideal way to do that. Which getting in a routine is key for that stuff.

Also think you'd see a huge difference on a Hoosier as well, glad to see the progress
Yea I’m just waiting to wear these MTs out and then I’m going to start using Hoosier c07s

So what your opinion on long travel needed or over rated

Would be a good idea, but the windows don’t roll down

Are your clicks on rear from full loose or tight?
Also, 1.5 is great! I fought so hurt to get in the 1.4x on a virgin asphalt street by me. I was stuck in the high 1.5 low 1.6 forever
Thanks! Im hoping we can keep cutting it down and get this converter/trans issue sorted out quickly
