I've just realised I forgot to thank Justin Gruijters who submitted a script to help with this video, and helped me spot a few sins I would have missed otherwise. Sorry about that man, you were a huge help, and thanks so much. I'll shout you out next video
I think refusing to do this one anymore is a bad move. The shortened form was never really a joke, and the long form was only a joke because of how it was phrased to sound somewhat funny. So it's not like Jay is recycling old, worn out jokes over and over again like Jeremy is. It was just a quick way of addressing a recurring problem with CinemaSins and legitimately adding to the sins-sin counter.
02:11 You missed one. CinemaSins asked 'Why Bucky has his own museum exhibit?' The museum guide explicitly states Sgt. Barnes was the only member of the Howling commandos to give his life for his country. 10:36 An addendum to your comment: In _Captain America: Civil War,_ it's shown that those helicarrier crashes did kill innocent people.
It's also pointed out in the commentary that they specifically had the Helicarriers come up out of the river so that they could fall back down into the water, minimizing casualties. (Though, as you pointed out, some people still died.)
Also, I'm pretty sure Bucky was the reason for Captain America's first combat mission in the field, which led him to all the later successes he achieved. Before that, he was basically just performing shows and selling war bonds.
I always find it hard to believe that a military unit in WW2 could go on multiple missions and only lose one man. But it does not matter. If you were building a museum that looks pretty big why would Bucky not be mentioned! Maybe if it was a small exhibit like say a medium sized room there would be not enough space the display about him most likely takes up less than 1% of the available area
Dean Mottershead in most cases I would agree, but the Howling Commandos had a leader who was an enhanced being with enhanced strength, speed, and senses. I feel like that would make their chances of survival a lot stronger than most combat units.
@@Kartissa Yes! And on top of that, if anyone ever cares enough to watch the featurette, they would find out that the leather jacket was even named "Bucky rescue suit".
That makes perfect sense to me. If the targeted criticism is bad enough to warrant counter-criticism, then of course the person criticizing the bad criticism is likely to be better at criticizing things. IMO it would be awkward if the counter-criticism wasn't better than the initial bad criticism.
+Deer Lord That awkward moment when you just swallow the obvious bullshit excuses of a terrible critic even though they've been debunked many times. Yes, CinemaSins makes some jokes here and there. A lot of actual reviewers do. But there is no comedic value to pointing out serious flaws of a movie, that aren't actually in the movie, when it's not obvious that the flaws are invented, and even then it's only funny as part of a greater joke.
+Deer Lord Fuckhead, it barely ever points out any real errors, it just makes up bullshit, factually incorrect errors, without making it obvious or, likely, even _realizing_ that the errors are bogus, and if you don't see how that's _bad,_ then you're a fucking moron and not worth talking to.
4:07 Actually, the directors confirmed that it's an easter egg alluding to the fact that Samuel Jackson plays Mace Windu in Star Wars - which is apparently a part of this universe, as it was on Cap's "list."
10:12 The mask being off also hinders Caps fighting ability and concentration because now he is focused on reconciling with Bucky. He's not punching the Winter Soldier anymore, he's punching his best friend. 10:36 In Civil War it was shown that debris DID hit civilians, causing serious damage/injury. Even if you don't accept that because this video came out before Civil War, you're telling me NONE of the debris from 3 genocide machines hit ANY civilians? DC is a pretty dense place. There are buildings in the bottom left corner, the bottom right corner, and the top left corner of this shot. Even if you don't accept THAT, not everyone in SHIELD is a Hydra agent. This is shown when at least one employee hesitates/refuses to launch the helicarriers and many others seemed confused on what was going on. If debris only landed on the "bad guys" (SHIELD), it still most likely landed on more than a few innocent SHIELD employees Just wanted to point those out. Love the video!
8:32. Those people had cleared the area where the shooting occurred. Natasha ran to where they were hiding, forcing them to scattering out of the way again. 10:14 The only reason Bucky was given the goggles and mask to wear over the years was to disguise his identity from people who might recognize him and realize that he's alive and needs saving. Now that the cat's out of the bag, it's no longer necessary. Plus there's a chance that Cap might be more hesitant to hurt Bucky if he can see his face. Similarly, Cap wore his old WWII partly to hopefully trigger Bucky's memory.
I am just going to have to say it, but if it actually turned out being the older woman kicking ass Jeremy would have sinned it for having an older woman kicking ass instead of having it actually be someone like Natasha in disguise since Natasha is trained in combat and he would claim that the older woman suddenly kicking ass seemed to come out of nowhere. You know that would have been his thought process. I have been watching way too many CinemaSins videos, also it may just because this is my favorite MCU movies and also one of my all time favorite movies too, but it seemed like a lot of the sins were nitpicking, but I guess it could be argued that I am blinded by my love for the movie just like Jeremy seems to be blinded by his dislike of it. Also why does he seem to think that Bucky, the man whose capture made Steve cross over from being a mascot for the army to an actual hero who stuck a big blow against Hydra and was believed to be the only person in the Howling Commandos to die in combat doesn’t deserve to have a memorial in the Smithsonian. That is not including the fact that Bucky was indeed Steve’s childhood friend and because Bucky beat up the bullies that Steve stood up to and seemed to take care of him when he was sick was probably the reason aside from Steve’s mom that Steve was able to live into adulthood before becoming a Super Soldier. I would say that Bucky was important enough to at least get a memorial.
That just makes him important to Steve, not to everyone else. I mean, yeah, he was awesome and helped Steve a lot, but I am sure there were lots of people around important people in history, but unless they did something special on their own, it usually doesn't merit memorials.
+Morgan Young No no no. Nitpicking is fine. That's legitimate, though minor, criticism. What Jeremy does that _isn't_ fine is make up bullshit sins that are just plain factually incorrect, both on purpose and through sheer incompetence. He makes movies look bad. A lot worse than they actually are.
NaptimeGaming I belive saving the life and taking care of one of his country's greatest heroes would count for at least something. Also, being the only person in the Howling Commandos to actually die in combat would make him a bit distinct. Also also, he was a Sargeant, so that makes him at least a bit important, and the fact that he was friends with Steve was just a bonus. So yeah, he was a Sargeant, part of the 107th Infantry Regiment, later a member of the Howling Commandos, the only one to die in combat, and also the one that saved the Captain's life, being important to capturing Arnim Zola, one of Hydra's highest-ranking members. Basically, since the entire Howling Commandos are studied in this world, Bucky would be important to history either way. Him being friends with Captain America since childhood and saving his life on several occasions is just a bonus.
NaptimeGaming by making Bucky very important to Steve it would make sense to have him in a part of a museum dedicated to Steve being Captain America. Also for all we know this part of the museum is very new and they wanted to have it there as a way to celebrate Steve coming back since one of the first things you see is a quote from the President welcoming Steve back and Steve wanted there to be a memorial to Bucky there and since this is Cap they are going to at least give him that. Also I would say that him being the only Howling Commando to die in combat makes him a pretty big deal. This is ignoring that he really survived the fall since most people think that he is still dead.
No they didn’t, they had one argument where Steve tried to get into a fight with him. The only times that they really fought was in one short scene in Age of Ultron and in Civil War, both are movies that take place after the events of Winter Soldier.
Was the argument not considered a fight..? I couldn't find the relevance in the timestamp (maybe I missed something) so forgive me if I'm taking the wrong message due to missed context.
So, in the CinemaSins video for _Captain America: The First Avenger,_ Jeremy criticized the fact that Steve was able to "conveniently" follow the villain due to the fact that the villain was escaping in the only yellow taxi within sight (even though it wasn't implausible in that situation). Now, in the CinemaSins video for _The Winter Soldier,_ Jeremy criticizes Steve for not trying to follow the villain despite the fact that he's already out of sight despite Steve looking out from a high vantage point. If Steve _HAD_ jumped down and picked a random direction to try and follow Bucky and just got lucky, Jeremy would be criticizing the actual convenience of that. Jeremy really needs to learn to make up his mind.
In universe Bucky is very important independent of Captain America. He was a sniper with record breaking marksmanship. He was a member of what is probably the first racially integrated team in army history. If someone was into WWII history within the MCU they would probably be more interested in Bucky and the other Howling Commandos. Captian American is nice and flashy but serious academics (like people working in museums) would definitely emphasize Bucky's importance.

You propably already know this because Cinema Wins said it in their videos and you may have watched it, but other people haven't, so idk, but: Hydra sending Bucky out without his Mask is most likely a mind game on Steve. Because it is "Easy" (MASSIVE Quotation Marks) to kill a nameless, masked enemy, but killing your best friend, one whose death you have grieved for many years is just something different. It is as much of a mindgame as Steve stealing and using his old uniform from the museum to trigger Buckys memories. Btw your videos are awesome, greetings from germany

From the comments people seem to like "this movie, that movie". I do too and it's a valid sin. But if you're tired of saying it since CinemaSins does it a LOT, maybe just edit in the sound of a jackass braying and add a sin to your counter.
And in my view, it's a legitimate gripe to get on Cinema Sins for. Vague similarities to other movies aren't sins. But I can understand being tired of having to say that, because CS does it A LOT.
For what its worth, your marvel videos got me to your channel and got me to binge watch a good amount of your other videos once I ran out of Marvel videos.
Missed sin: @2:06 someone on tumblr pointed out that the top of Bucky’s wall lists his birth year as 1916 while it’s listed as 1917 at the bottom, You’d think CinemaSin, who routinely pauses movies to read background newspaper articles looking for inconsistencies, would have noticed that.
It might have been mentioned in the comments but the "regular" guy Captain America was fighting is a supervillain. He's not just some regular henchmen and they got an MMA fighter to play him. The character is Bartoc the Leaper. He's got some skills.
I would totally watch a collaboration video between Jay and Th3Birdman doing a sin sins of any future movies. That would be hilarious and we would hear both of their views
I watch you cuz you're funny. Many of your jokes are very witty. And you pretty much say what we are all thinking when we watch the original sins video. Before your channel came out I was often screaming in my phone as if CinemaSins could somehow hear me. Thank you for giving me a voice.
i hope this channel gets so popular that cinemasins responds with a Everything Wrong with: Everything wrongs with: Everything wrong with insert movie here
One that really bugs me is when Jeremy says that Steve went toe to toe with Tony in Avengers. Binch when ?? They're civil at first, then things heat up but the moment they want to suit up to fight, the whole helicarrier debacle happens, and by then they work together 'til the end ?? Except maybe if he means the shield Steve throws gently at both Tony and Thor ? Idk. Like, the only time they actually physically fight is in Civil War, but the movie hadn't come out yet at the time.
And if he is talking about Civil War, Cap didn't go toe-to-toe with Iron Man; Cap and Bucky, together, went toe-to-toe with Iron Man. Iron Man was winning the fight in every moment that he was able to isolate one of them from the other.
8:00 missed sin. When cap is going towards the bus he’s going to the side of it but when he bursts in it’s directly in the front. He apparently did a 90 degree turn before hitting it
My favorite MCU movie so far. I have yet to watch Spiderman homecoming, Black Panther, Infinity war, and Antman and The Wasp. Although i have 3 out of 4 on DVD so I need to break down some time and watch them
The byrdman video also pointed out that the guy Cap fights in the beginning is a seriously championed fighter in mma or something of the like. So in our limits he's closer to superhuman since it's actually his career.
10:52 also, thaaaaat is not a sin. That is emergency services doing their fucking jobs. Jeremy must learn the difference between emergency services doing their fucking jobs and sins.
10:22 also, just like Steve stole his old uniform to jog Bucky’s memory, Bucky and HYDRA may have abandoned the goggles to duck with Steve. Not like that. #duckautocorrect
I imagine the people who were still hanging around the fight around the bridge were hiding behind cars and stuff (you still see them do that), and only start running into the open once the battle moves from near the bridge to near them. Hiding behind cover rather than fleeing in the open when you hear gunshots and don't know if it's aimless shooting or not is a valid action.
That shooting the tires part is essentially "if you were wrong, I'm sinning you, but if you were right, I'm giving you a missed sin sin because you should've sinned the thing you already sinned!" Otherwise all your sin-sins make totally sense, Jeremy needs to pay more attention!
It's a missed sin because technically, the thing Jeremy sinned was "Why didn't they think to just shoot the tires?" when, if anything, it _should_ have been "How come they somehow managed to conveniently miss the tires when they were shooting every part of the van indiscriminately?"
I thought some of the Shield tech was rather unfeasibly advanced, but I’m watching this in mid-2019 after we’ve met the Skrulls... and it all makes a lot more sense. (And that’s leaving aside whatever they might have learned from reverse-engineering the 2012 attack tech. After all, it didn’t take them long to devise a new weapon based on the Destroyer from Asgard).
Winter Soldier ditches the goggles after Widow shoots one of the lenses and cracks it (inferring that it wasn't functioning any more). I remember thinking "It's right there in the movie!" when I originally saw the Sins video :P
I'm ridiculously late but missed sin: Bucky gets like a display wall in the museum, not a fucking wing. Jeremy must learn the difference between walls and wings.
The one thing I constantly hear about this is "why didn't Bucky follow Fury down that hole" and it drives me nuts. Why didnt the highly trained assassin stick his head in a hole where an armed super agent just went into? And...all the howling commandos have a place in the museum?
I love your channel, the *main* reason I'm most attracted to it is because CinemaSins is absolute shit at making legitimate sins on films, they just joke about the "bad" parts and skip over majority of the real ones. not only that, people truly believe that that guy is a CRITIC, a person to rely on for an easy overview for a film and he almost shits on all of it, it affects the audience's opinion on watching it and most people who comment saying "well good thing I'm not watching that anymore" or "I'm glad I listened to you, I'm not gonna be watching ____ now" like.. It's unbelievable how his channel is being kept up as well as it is.
Everything great about Everything great about sounds like a horrible idea. It would likely be mostly "Yes, I agree *ding*" and an occasional elaboration on a point he makes.
I’ve always said he has moderately increased strength, speed, agility and resilience to that of a normal human but I’ve never thought of just saying super human athleticism that’s way better and shorter thank you for that I’ll be using that from know on.
1:49 you forgot to mention that he's fighting Batroc the leaper who is in peak physical condition in every aspect,l. He's also an Olympic level weightlifter and has extraordinary power and reflexes. Also also, his leg muscles are particularly well developed, allowing him to leap great distances equal to an Olympic athlete. Also also also, he's an expert in hand to hand combat and a master kickboxer
Btw that “regular guy’s” name is Batroc, in the comics he is a man who surpasses practically every other human in terms of physicality. He’s not super, yeah, but he just has huge muscles. Also he’s played by an MMA fighter in the movie.
Just saying that 'the guy that can go toe to toe with cap' was a guy called batroc I think and he's a master gymnast and kickboxer but yeah your point is still valid.
I actually used to like Cinemasins, but over time the amount of times I thought “wait a mini minute, that’s bullshit” increased more and more with every video until I just stopped watching them at all.
1:47 Uhhh please expplain when Cap fought Tony? You mean that argument or that bit where he hit him once with his shield to stop Thor and Tony fighting.
also, on the “cap can’t beat a normal dude” sin, the “normal dude” isn’t that. He’s Batroc the Leaper, one of the most accomplished non-superpowered hand-to-hand combatants in the Marvel comics.
1:41 This guy is not a "normal" dude, he is superhuman just like cap, that's why he is able to last so long against cap, instead of instantly getting knocked out.
I've just realised I forgot to thank Justin Gruijters who submitted a script to help with this video, and helped me spot a few sins I would have missed otherwise. Sorry about that man, you were a huge help, and thanks so much. I'll shout you out next video

It's super cool how one "bad" TH-cam channel spawned so many good ones.
It was CinemaSins’ secret plan
@@Phikinnie: WHAT!?!
"A beautiful parasite..."
@@berengustav7714 "I understood that reference"
It might have been mentioned in the comments but the "regular" guy Captain America was fighting is a supervillain. He's not just some regular henchmen and they got an MMA fighter to play him. The character is Bartoc the Leaper. He's got some skills.
Doesn't he have robotic legs?
@@stressedinmotion maybe in the comics. They didn't mention it in the movie far as I remember.
@@MonkeyKingsformerroomate oh
God, I love this channel. I can't be bothered to watch Jeremy's drawn out, annoying videos, but I'll gladly watch and enjoy you tear them apart.
I would totally watch a collaboration video between Jay and Th3Birdman doing a sin sins of any future movies. That would be hilarious and we would hear both of their views
I love how much you ship Stucky like same
yesssss i love it
Tyra Kristiansen Stucky is the best MCU ship.
I don’t really ship them, but damned if they can’t be just the cutest thing together. ^__^
I watch you cuz you're funny. Many of your jokes are very witty. And you pretty much say what we are all thinking when we watch the original sins video. Before your channel came out I was often screaming in my phone as if CinemaSins could somehow hear me. Thank you for giving me a voice.
Also, it wasn't a museum to Captain America, it is a museum to the Howling Commandos; the squad Captain America was a part of
i hope this channel gets so popular that cinemasins responds with a Everything Wrong with: Everything wrongs with: Everything wrong with insert movie here
Missed Sin: The “Normal” guy who goes toe to toe with Cap, is actually Batrock The Leeper, who is one of the best Kickers in all of Marvel
4:20 I kind of assumed it was either a manhole or really close to one and that's how he escaped 🤷♂
Well, considering the tunnel is a circle I'd say you're right.
The real sin there is that there was nothing stopping Bucky from following. What did Eye Patch get, a 30 second head start?
Looks like the hole in the dirt is bigger than the one in the car so I’m going with yes
Captain America: AHHHH ITS BUCKY!!!111!11
Also, congrats on 22k
I kind of miss the " please don't sue us". I thought it was funny
Congrats on your 20k!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love your thanks for 20k. Now you're at more than 10 times that! Glad to have been a part of getting you there.
7:33 also they didn’t explain everything about their evil plans! Our heroes had to threaten Jasper Sitwell to figure out what Zola’s Algorithm is.
8:00 missed sin. When cap is going towards the bus he’s going to the side of it but when he bursts in it’s directly in the front. He apparently did a 90 degree turn before hitting it
Uh...... he’s clearly going to hit the front of the bus, which he does.
This guy is my spirit animal. But he is also a monster for insulting cinemawins.
I have nothing but good things to say about cinemawins, that one video where I sinned them was a huge mistake. :P
CinemaSinsSins you know you can make it up by winning his video until Jeremy f**king does infinity war
SinsSins ega ega Infinity War. It will just be you agreeing with everything he says.
My favorite MCU movie so far. I have yet to watch Spiderman homecoming, Black Panther, Infinity war, and Antman and The Wasp. Although i have 3 out of 4 on DVD so I need to break down some time and watch them
I love hearing young Jay thanking the viewers for 20k and being surprised, when in 2 years its going to become almost 20x that. My heart
Fury was driving a SHIELD military grade vehicle , thats why the tires weren't affected.
On the one with falcon knowing where they were on the bridge, you can see the bridge in the background
“Who for some reason enjoy watching me”
You’re british and snarky. What else could you want?
The byrdman video also pointed out that the guy Cap fights in the beginning is a seriously championed fighter in mma or something of the like. So in our limits he's closer to superhuman since it's actually his career.
10:52 also, thaaaaat is not a sin. That is emergency services doing their fucking jobs. Jeremy must learn the difference between emergency services doing their fucking jobs and sins.
You voiced most of my concerns I have with CinemaSins and other “reviewers.”
9:44 completely unguarded?? The last computer bubble apparatus was guarded by the Winter Soldier. So, not completely unguarded.
Captain America and Iron Man never fought in the original Avengers movie. They don't fight until Captain America Civil War.
Riku 1186 did they not have a small fight in age of ultron
This movie came out before ultron.
10:22 also, just like Steve stole his old uniform to jog Bucky’s memory, Bucky and HYDRA may have abandoned the goggles to duck with Steve. Not like that.
#duckautocorrect
3:33 don’t military vehicles have badass wheels that let you keep driving without fully pressurized tires?
1:41 also, when the hell did Steve fight Tony directly in Avengers 1??
Lad you deserve way more subscribers then you have! These videos are brilliantly entertaining, keep it up
I imagine the people who were still hanging around the fight around the bridge were hiding behind cars and stuff (you still see them do that), and only start running into the open once the battle moves from near the bridge to near them.
Damn your channel being small pisses me off... You deserve way more subs at least around 1mill
Weeeellllll, SHIELD had lots of encanced assets, like Ghost, so sending one to capture cap is not that big of an assumption
Winter Soulja Boi.
You should do Everything Wrong with Everything Wrong with Kong: Skull Island.
That is one of CinemaSins most infamous videos.
Winter Soldier ditches the goggles after Widow shoots one of the lenses and cracks it (inferring that it wasn't functioning any more). I remember thinking "It's right there in the movie!" when I originally saw the Sins video :P
They mention in civil war that people died
I'm ridiculously late but missed sin: Bucky gets like a display wall in the museum, not a fucking wing. Jeremy must learn the difference between walls and wings.
The one thing I constantly hear about this is "why didn't Bucky follow Fury down that hole" and it drives me nuts. Why didnt the highly trained assassin stick his head in a hole where an armed super agent just went into? And...all the howling commandos have a place in the museum?
True
1:44
Uh.....no he didn't. He never fought Iron Man in the Avengers. What the hell is Jeremy talking about? XD
Ughh I fucking love this CHANNEL!!!! Years of frustratingly watching CinemaSins finally being released.
Can you please do everything great about everything great about infinity war. Also will you ever do a full video with birdman
Everything great about Everything great about sounds like a horrible idea.
It would likely be mostly "Yes, I agree *ding*" and an occasional elaboration on a point he makes.
That'd be redundant. A positive and a positive is still positive. There's no real change.
Can you please do the other Harry potter videos from cinemasins
Kevin Cespedes he’s already done them. I think most of them at least
i just noticed why does steve need to look up picaso?? he was still a famous painter when steve was around the first time
I think you misread the list. It says Disco, but the D looks like a P.
that would make more sense thanks
It says Disco, not Picasso
You were the first channel I subscribed to and I think you deserve way more than 20k subscribers
Dude, hes gotten like, 10k subs over the summer. I predict 70k by the end of the year
Elrod Halfelven
He totally deserves those subscribers
u forgot to add 3 more vids to the MCU playlist btw
Please do Everything wrong with EWW Infinity War
Oh wait...
7:46
Because missiles travel faster than winter soldiers
I’ve always said he has moderately increased strength, speed, agility and resilience to that of a normal human but I’ve never thought of just saying super human athleticism that’s way better and shorter thank you for that I’ll be using that from know on.
2:12 That's not a wing, that's a few paragraphs.
you're hilarious man, whenever you post a video my day gets 100x better
8:55 And he was on the bridge......giving him a vantage point that would make seeing them even easier.
Jeremy in the future "this scene has been filmed for this movie specifically, SIN!"
I can just imagine it.
The battering ram was a decent idea. They were attacking the already weakened window and it was working
"haha, that's incorrect. Hilarious!" Great line
The Winter Soldier is my favourite movie! :)
Btw that “regular guy’s” name is Batroc, in the comics he is a man who surpasses practically every other human in terms of physicality. He’s not super, yeah, but he just has huge muscles. Also he’s played by an MMA fighter in the movie.
I really appreciate this, honestly I feel The Winter Soldier is the best MCU movie so far in my opinion. It’s very underrated.
Just saying that 'the guy that can go toe to toe with cap' was a guy called batroc I think and he's a master gymnast and kickboxer but yeah your point is still valid.
You know what I haven’t seen one of these in a while
5:23 : What about the plane shooting at cap though? The quinjet on the bridge.
I actually used to like Cinemasins, but over time the amount of times I thought “wait a mini minute, that’s bullshit” increased more and more with every video until I just stopped watching them at all.
Maybe you can do "Everything wrong with everything wrong with everything wrong with cinema sins"
Yes
That's a lot of everything lol
1:47 Uhhh please expplain when Cap fought Tony? You mean that argument or that bit where he hit him once with his shield to stop Thor and Tony fighting.
also, on the “cap can’t beat a normal dude” sin, the “normal dude” isn’t that. He’s Batroc the Leaper, one of the most accomplished non-superpowered hand-to-hand combatants in the Marvel comics.
We love you dude
10:40 don't they mention the damage and casualties it caused in civil war?
"No, that sounds like I'm saying they were together... so there's no problem here actually." :DD
Thanks for featuring my comment. ^__^
1:41 This guy is not a "normal" dude, he is superhuman just like cap, that's why he is able to last so long against cap, instead of instantly getting knocked out.
