One thing I don't like about our MPs is they say they always have proof of something. But they never show any of this proof. They just say they have proof.
The ULEZ scrapped polluting cars have been sent to Ukraine to contribute to the mass polluted air in that country? So the question remains answered that it appears to be okay to pollute the atmosphere so long as it gets paid for by us plebs. If it was that dangerous, then why didn't they just ban the offending vehicles?
I upped and left 11 years ago. London gal born and bred. I now live up in the hills in rural southern Spain. None of this nonsense here. Can live in peace, work remotely by my pool and can drive my car without being conned by some jumped up councillor.
@stevetarrant3362 Thanks lovely, I just grafted my backside off to make it happen. 🙂 No one has had a pop either, which makes a change. I've not long found Andy out, so maybe he has a level headed and mature bunch that have subscribed to him. Hope you are keeping well. 🙂
@stevetarrant3362 I came back to the UK last year to see family friends. First time since 2018. In that time things have massively gone downhill. Everything just looks a mess.
Wasn't there an election a couple of weeks ago? If the majority of Londoners couldn't be bothered to vote, they obviously aren't that bothered by Kahns policies. Unlike the EU remainers I actually accept the result of a democratically held vote, and as much as I can't stand Kahn, he did win not least because not enough people thought he was bad enough to vote against him. Rich Londoners probably couldn't care less as they can afford the charge and many of the original working class Londoners have probably already left. I suspect that many of the immigrants that have replaced them probably don't even drive. I don't agree with the ULEZ charge, but I can see it being extended to most major towns and cities as will be the Welsh blanket 20mph limit when Labour get in. I shall of course be voting for parties that oppose these measures, but I expect I will be in the minority. Once those measures are implemented everyone will start moaning of course.
When I have a hospital appointment my friend has to take me there as I don't drive, this costs and I contribute what I can, when we get there she has to pay parking fees, and sometimes we have to wait so That also costs, If I want a coffee with say, a brownie... in the hospital it can cost me up to. £7 just for that... All the trips to appointments are extortionate. So wherever you go it costs... We now never go anywhere like we used to just to visit, and I now just make coffee. at home. This Ulez thing is very restricting. I have another friend who lives outside of central London who is now also affected by this and has to pay £12.50 just to go shopping or to visit her family and tells me she now can't afford to. visit a friend who has Alzheimer's as often as she used to because the cost mounts up, I thought he was supposed to be The Mayor of London..... not the surrounding Counties? Can't understand why they voted him back in... He's wrecking our country and helping nobody except himself.
I was born in this city and voted to stop Kahn, but according to the democratic votes of my ‘fellow’ Londoners, I am in the minority and wrong. The turnout and voting clearly shows this.😢

Maybe they should just ban traffic along the roads where these bat boxes are so as not to disturb them. The mayoral election was a referendum on ULEZ so why not just respect the will of the people?
Or respect the will of bat . You must be aware of the lies he's told , the suffering and harm this is causing so many , that FACT the air is clean and he failed to carryout due process ...and you're OK with that eh? How strange
Well they put one camera on green belt , I know this because when they put the bike lane in they were forced to cut down the road instead, so how are they allowed to breach these rules of there own accord I would like someone to challenge these rulings as right now he’s and tfl are running rough shot over people with no proof
What I don’t get is tfl can put cameras on traffic lights but what gives them the right to put cameras up outside peoples houses and on the public paths
It might be sad be I think we shall move on and live on with ULEZ as the Londoners have already decided on that. I will be scrapping my Mazda 6 2003 and be done with it and all ULEZ saga.
So you complain about rising crime in London but support the criminal actions of the people who damage and destroy the ULEZ cameras.Very well thought through arguments you spout
I live in a town that have had ULEZ zones for over 2 decades now. We can debate on how to implement them. But for the air quality for those that lives there they are a great improvement. Friends that lives i those areas cod tell strait away the air got better just from sutch a thing as how often they needed to clean their windows. AND after the ulez dust/complaints had settled they saw an increase in property value.
@@westcoast747 My town you never heard of, i am from Sweden. But yes traffic has reduced significantly in those zones. People just need to learn. For instance you dont need to take the car instead of a 5min walk for a loaf of bread. tanks and missiles are not great for the ecoshitstem either😆which proves beyond doubt it's all bollox
There’s a good chance some of the vehicles will be targeted and start giving off emissions way above the manufacturer’s design criteria.
It's cleaning the streets of London. You can sell your ULEZ non compliant car anywhere in the UK that doesn't have ULEZ, so cut the bollox.
My prediction is the current mayor will not finish their term and will be replaced before further damage is done.
I hope you're right
In your dreams, he's a WEF plant
😫 I can't bear it anymore

It was a forgone conclusion that he would get back in by fare means or fowl.
I agree. Crimes committed by those who think they rule over us just go ignored.

There was no "blanket" 20mph limit in Wales.
Mayor Khan keeps talking about Londoners but he forgets it's our Capital City and not just the people who live there.
Not anything to do with england either Owned by the Vatigan ..where £75% goes . Crazy crazy crazy ..
A big turnout would have made no difference anyway, as Little Sad-Dick Khan is the chair of C40 Cities. How would that look if he had been deposed?

all the muslims voted him back in..
According to the election, He’s legal. As far as we unimportant people care, Londoners deserve everything they voted for!
Sounds like a case for BATman and ROBIN!...

Take a look at University of Bath IPR, policy brief regarding LEZ & ULEZ.
Maybe some kind person will do the country a huge service ,????

It's legal and you know it is. However, if you are driving around in a 20 year old car or van, check the MOT is real...
