Thanks for the detailed video. Now, I definitely want to look into the RJ. The RJ series was particularly popular in Europe but it was also used on the west coast of the USA, particularly in city to city short hops in California. The design is based upon STOL principles, hence the closely cropped engines and high wing profile. The rear spoilers provide very effective when landing. I had a round trip on one back the early 80's. It was from Orange County to San Francisco and back. When the plane landed, is slowed down incredibly fast, reversers going full blast. The rear spoilers provide a very effective "air brake" when landing. This was the dominant airplane at airports like London City for a number of years. Thanks again.
I learned to fly in 1970 in a Aeronca Champ. the forerunner to the Citabria which is Airbatic backwards. The decathlon is derived from thes two aircraft so the design dates back to 1946 approx by Molt Taylor of Taylorcraft fame thought you might like to know.
Yep, never flew the AirBuse's and starting on the A380 and will take a some time to tigh it down. The helicopter looks great I think just flights a great site and may have to update my planes. God it's been a while. All good and many thanks ❤

They are spoilers also referred to as anti lift devices. The purpose is to spoil lift to put more weight on the wells to aid in braking action.
