The Ukay Heights reminded me a lot of old Hollywood Hills/Beverly Hills, but just a bit more tropical. I love the architecture and the windy, hilly roads. And . . . your jazz piano music couldn't be more spot on and tastefully relaxing Taylor. Thanks so much for sharing this one with us.
We just loved Ukay Heights, and your tour brought back so many great memories. It is so green, hilly, and lush, and the diversity of the architecture makes it interesting to explore. The apartment is stunning, and how fantastic to have that rooftop terrace!
Watching the video over my morning coffee here in Amsterdam. The intro music and motorcycle tour was so nice and relaxing and the video was like having a conversation with new friends. Thanks!
Definitely aggreed; it reminded me of Honolulu/wikiki east side of the island neigborhood. Thanks so much for sharings. Let this type of videos keep coming...
Upon reviewing you old program I stumbled upon a great place to stay upon our arrival to KL ! Thanks for the tips and locations to explore!! Do more of these to boost your viewing! 👍
Wow, just wow,Taylor! What a place! It was so nice of your guests to let us into their beautiful home. Thank you for showing us another wonderful neighborhood, so green and lush. There seems to be something about the Malaysian vibe that just comes through on the screen. I hope you are continuing to improve and am sending you my best wishes. Until next time! Be well.
What a nice area, clean, no traffic, lots of greenery and great views. Love the nice open unit and a private roof top. The cheeky Monkeys scare me though. Good luck to them for doing so well but I guess a lot of hard work went into it. Love these videos showing different parts of KL. Thank you.🙏👍🙂
very nice drive around video.. love the ambience music.. you made it so very appealing.. yes.. beautiful homes.. the night view must be something to die for.. but the truth is my dear Taylor.. it's heaven for mosquitos.. and those monkey's are vicious pest.. I was there about 30 years ago.. not sure what the situation is like now.. those two couples are one tough cookies.. I don't suppose you could do a video about the up and coming new big town in Genting highland.. I heard its selling like hot cakes.. there's few Videos about it..
Ukay Height is so overbuilt now. My father built a house there back in the mid 80s. At that time it was very spacious, your next door neighbors where like at least two house spaces away. Lots of privacy. There were a lot more single family home then. Now I saw in your video there are lots of townhouses linked together. Ukay Height is a favorite place for expats and foreign embassy staff since Jalan Ampang were known as and I believe still known as the Embassy Row. I still remember that the first or second shopping mall that open back then was Ampang Park. Not big but very pleasant mall to walk around. Good memory. Now thinking of coming back to K.L. Been in the U.S. for too long.
Hi Mr Taylor .. nice video..next.. try explore BUKIT ANTARABANGSA not far from Ukay Height ..you will be amazed by the greenery..it is a residential area wt condos, bungalows and terrace houses..There's a famous place call STELVIO BUKIT ANTARABANGSA/SUNSET VIEW...crowded with ppl especially on weekends..
Great tour with good smooth tunes accompaniment. A little longer and deeper session with the folks being interviewed would have been nice but otherwise very enjoyable! 👍
Is good idea to explore around by bike 😅 thank for showing beautiful & nice view of the penthouse ☘️🌿🌱⚘️🍀🗺🏕 have a nice weekend Andrew lets explore ahead 🛵
Hi Taylor, enjoyed that very much, thank you. Nostalgia for me. Apart from KL there are also suburbs in Petaling Jaya that you will find similar houses and greenery, like PJ sections 14 or 16/ Jalan Gasing. Very mature, convenient, green areas. Easy accessibility too from Ampang KL via train too. There is a big, gorgeous park with a lake - Taman Tasik and a magnificent Thai Buddhist temple there. There used to be the oldest A&W in Malaysia there as well but was torn down in 2020. My friends and I used to meet up there after school back in the '70's😁 ...stay well. Looking forward to your next adventure 👍
@@andrewtaylor4558 Thanks for replying, Taylor. Can I recommend one more place that you may like to check out? Sentul area. Not far from your place and near KL Performing Arts Centre. Beautiful buildings and grounds and restaurants/bistros within. used to be a warehouse for the Railway. I attended a theatre workshop for seniors there once...so impressed by the area....anyway sorry, thought I'd share that in case you might want to know what else KL offers...😄
Taylor, c’est pour les riches et célèbres, les Beverly Hills de Malaisie. C’est magnifique vue de KL, un quartier serein et une excellente musique de fond, . Incroyable vidéo, merci beaucoup.
Oh this remind me of my 8 months stay in UK heights. I never did like it there because living in Malaysia that I love, is all about family, friendship neighbourhood, societal interaction and connection with nature. Anyone can tell that living in the "kampungs", we can get a higher dose of these. I consider my life is an adventure in paradise till I widen my perspective learning from the social media, that this planet is all about the struggle of the good against evil. We foolishly thought that by climbing up the pyramidal power structure, we improve the quality of our lives but instead we eventually isolate ourselves and loose the heart connection with all live forms coming out of that one consciousness. I am waiting for the rest of the world to understand this, so that we can make this world a paradise that we all dream of.
I understood completely what you're trying to say but I guess different people have different preference and way of connecting with others and their community.. but personally I also felt that living in a big house is nice but only if I'm living with a big family, with lots of children playing around. It will be so lonely to be living with just my spouse or a couple of grown up children looking forward to widen their horizons beyond our home boundary.. a decent size home (like the couple's condo or even smaller) is already perfect for me to live and retire tho I still prefer to be on the ground than up in the sky.
Taylor, this was exquisite 👌🏻 I love piano jazz and this neighborhood is stunning 😍 Your guest's penthouse was fabulous too, and the view! Thank you so much for sharing thjs with us.
Great place. Ukay Heights looks Okay! 😊 Likes the green view as also the buildings and penthouse Condo. And besides that privacy and just to relax really good to stay .Travel by bike really cool, Andrew.

Yup, we have to maintain it and for us, it's getting harder as we're in our sixties, but you can always hire a gardener to come over every other day or week to help do the cleaning up. The price to pay to wake up in the morning listening to birds singing in your garden and green peace😊💚

Nice, mansion row, kind of boring for a single person. I'd rather live in some place a tad bit more interesting. One of those rice field villages on the Borneo side would be more stimulating if it had a screaming internet connection and a quick ride to KK when you wanted to do the urban thing.
