The Balanced Leech is a very deadly stillwater leech pattern. The Balanced Leech utilizes a extended pin off the front of the hook, allowing the Balanced Leech to hang horizontally in the water column. The Balanced Leech can be tied in many different color variations with Black, Olive, Purple and Brown being the most popular. They are fun to tie and even more fun to fish!!

Your videos are always great. Most of all, unlike a lot of TH-cam videos... I can understand every word you say. Your voice is crystal clear. U.S. Army, (ret) TX
Neat pattern there dude. I’ll definitely give it a try. Thank you for another one.
Great fly and excellent explanation !
I use some superglue to secure the pin.
Kind regards,

Nice 👍
Nice
That pin is going to get pulled out. Shouldn't you wrap thread under the front and rear of the pin to make it more secure? Also coat the thread with super glue or Zap-a-Gap?
Would you be able to use bushy chenille for the body instead of dubbing?
Are these more proned to tangle and wrap up?
