I was actually pleasantly surprised as to how good you are. At first I thought I was going to come here to rip based on the cheap equipment used and the use of flip folders, but you’re actually pretty good.
If you’re wondering why I added the cheap equipment, it’s because usually if a band isn’t good, nobody outside of band cares at all, so they don’t get much funding from the school
Yeah man, we’re actually getting new drums next season. The only reason we even had these is because our old perc director was endorsed by Dynasty and Promark. Last year we got a new director and became an IP school, but we’re gonna get new Dynasts.
Jadon Harrison dynasty drums sound really nice, but they are so goddamn heavy, and still are part of the budget end of things. That’s why Yamaha is a the top of the chain for their quads, they are light and just as good sounding as the dynasty. People are going crazy over the system blue quads, but I personally think they sound like crap. The ideal setup for me is the Yamaha quads with corps clear heads. However, the system blue snares are undisputably the best snares available. And on the promark thing, I like promark, but only specific sticks work well for me. While innovative’s whole line of sticks work really well for anyone.
Sorry, I like to talk equipment, that carried over from my extensive knowledge on modern professional and intermediate mountain bikes, that’s all we do is talk tech in the mtb world
Ekodevil Yeah man, I get that. I like to talk a ton about equipment, since I also play drum set. That’s what I know more of rather than the marching drum epuipment, I just think tenors are fun and the technique makes you better. Unfortunately drumming hasn’t help my grammar much, lol. I’m kind of excited for the new drums though, they’re supposedly 4 to 5 lbs lighter than our old ass ones.
yeah that happens to me a lot cause like the only people to watch are half time show are our friends and a few other people and in parades i always get stared at cause i play tenors its kind of weird having like 20 people stare at you
Lil' Autostore This was one of our first games of the year. Sadly there’s no sheet music. But, it is simple enough to play by watching it. Some of them were just remade versions of cadences we had the year prior. The rest, we pretty much learned these cadences about an hour before this video was shot.

nice bro !
Was it heavier with that extra plastic
I wish I could have that extra stuff... Storing my sheet music on somewhere else than drum 4 would be nice
Awesome!!

This is all really simple. Seems like it was written by a snare player who over-estimated their own talent for writing.
Liam Lockhart but it sounds good, unlike most tenor parts
Nice
