      Now I just need doors wide enough for mirimbas last year I was in the pit and whenever we had to move the mitimba we had to take it apart so we could get it through doors

    This is easily one of the best videos of drumlines on youtube. Proper technique, good sounding cadences, and everyone is marching with the beat. Good job despite being 6 years too late

    What I regret about band is never trying percussion, im in in 7th grade and play the flute. I wish I did percussion because I really like drums like this

      You can still do it. Just as long as you learn some of the notes... and practice

      Just do it I did the same thing except with Oboe. I hated that thing and after finally forever I'm doing percussion full time and I don't regret it one bit

      started off on clarinet, switched to sax, now i play snare for the marching band. you can always make the switch if you work for it.

      I switched in 8th grade, and am now one of the best percussionists in my whole high school as a sophomore

      @@duke2457 bass drums are the low range, tenors are that middle voice, and the snare are your high pitch

      I feel blessed that my school gets new drums for all 17 drummers every 2 years, but my director doesn't like the Randall May harness so we use the crappy pearl harness

    my school has like 10 bass 6 quads and like 8 snare its a huge Drum line and competes at worlds.

      Mark Aaronson It depends on the school teacher, it’s better to be a good student who respects there director then a jerk who doesn’t. In my school we ask before we tune it because we respect are band director.
