I haven’t been a fan for that long (started maybe in 2019), but I flew out to NYC last year to be able to see the MSG show for this tour. I’ll treasure that memory for the rest of my life.
I was just checking up to see what John Mayer's been up to for the last decade. All I ever heard about him had to do with his insane dating life 😆 Pretty incredible performance and presentation. Wow
When I was a kid my music teacher used to yell at me for playing the top E string with my thumb. I would love to send this to him and say, see what playing the E string with your thumb can lead to Ron! Thanks for the tip Ron!
JOHN MAYER , Wow what an unforgettable performance you have given us, with your beautiful voice, beautifully sung, your musical passion on different instruments, what a great guitarist, also Solo it was a wonderful experience. So many thanks for giving us a great feeling here in Amsterdam❤️❤️❤️🙏🌹
I was incredibly lucky to witness the SF show in november and to this day that's s the only thing I can think about - John reignited my passion for Music! Every time I see snippets from other places I'm jealous of people experiencing the tour for the first time. The Amsterdam audience seems xtra blessed to me!
I’ll forever regret not catching that SF show, or any show this past tour. I did get a chance to see him do a couple of “solo” shows at the Alice in Winterland festivals-cool to see him try out the format before going full force with the Solo Tour.
That swap to the electric guitar at Changing was EXACTLY what the song needed! Genius. At the concert I thought: i really miss the electric guitar in this song😢 but not even a minute later he delivered!!
I was lucky to be there that night. I’m a big fan. One of the greatest musicians I’ve ever heard live. He doesn’t have a bad day, it’s flauless and extremely passionate. Thanks for the video 🙏

Nice to be able to see this again, I can relive this on this media, for which so much thanks and love for this wonderful performance of my idol John Mayer. ❤️❤❤
❤ had chills when he decided to sing the "where ever I go" song following In your atmosphere. It is such a good song. Was totally heartbroken when he said he had forgotten how to play "the rest" when I was able catch him in 2019.
John Mayer succeeding at what Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds tried to achieve. They were good, but Mayer doing it as one guy, is great. And that is the difference!
Fack! Awesome 😎💯💯 i appreciate he is going back and playing more songs from his old albums like war of my life, some of those songs are probably difficult to play not just on guitar but emotionally
I have an anxiety disorder and panic attacks. i had tickets but was too anxious to go. seeing this now makes me feel bad, knowing my anxiety won again. hope to see john again someday. he is my lifetime favorit musician.
I was in dublin and Amsterdam night one. Haten the fact that in dublin People were walking to the bar/toilet the entire show. I think it affectie john too. Didnt do as many sign requests and no signing autographs at the end of the show
With € 200 you probably would have ended high up in the balcony ... I tried to get decent ticks but with the flexible pricing I was facing prices > € 450. Would have loved to be there, but with that money I can attend 10 other nice gigs
@@reinbald I managed to get 2 tickets for 100€ each but this was the initial sale and still, one of the last 2 adjacent seats, last row up in the top ring, lol. Couldn't see shit on stage, only the screens and thank God, the sound was very nice even there. Checked prices for the 2nd evening as I was still in Amsterdam but the resale prices were insane and didn't make it. This was my third Mayer show and I had some great time. I hope that one day I get to attend a show and make it to the front rows and perhaps VIP greet & meet. :)
Well, I had a ticket for Paris i' the back section that I paid 100€ but I met the kindest of us and she gave me a 230€ ticket for free. I was as close as the person shooting the video but on the left
34:12-Oh, typical John on the solo tour: Says an acoustic version of a certain song doesn't really work or doesn't work at all, then proceeds to completely improvise one of the most banging versions of said song he's ever played in his career
Yes, floor seating. The second show was very good as well! I only took a few pictures and recorded some snippets unfortunately, but I have seen several videos on TH-cam…
@@FrancienVandenHeuvel-eg8hn I have to say as both shows had their own specialities in setlist.. 6 songs of the 42 were the same. Have to say, second he was more comfy, chilled and talkative with jokes aside. But hard to choose, gotta say 50/50 :)
Thank you so much for filming this! I am planning on compiling many fan videos into a concert compilation video covering both the Amsterdam shows, and hoping it’s okay for me to use parts of your video! Also wondering if it might be possible to get the original file to use via Google Drive, or WeTransfer etc? (You can take a look at my 2022 concert video as an example of what I've made before!)
Beethoven and stuff at the park got brand new CDs the Lord put them there for me cuz I asked for him and the people at the park it came up this elderly lady I got all four people want to help she want to hug me that the trees with the colors it was beautiful
After being a fan of him for nearly 15 years I finally could see him live that night ! what a moment

John: “Vultures doesn’t work on the acoustic”
John: proceeds to make it work on the acoustic
It was so fun watching him have fun with the song too!
One of the greatest concerts I've been to, ever!
Same for me, it was sooo awesome. I really enjoy the solo concept, as a huge guitar lover this is an absolute win for me
Shut up lil bro no one asked
Excuse me, but we REQUIRE a recorded acoustic version of Vultures on Spotify. Please and thank you. God bless you JM
Where is it in the show?
The absolute master of his craft!!!

Thank you very much. Great sound. What a bass sound in Neon. Best live coverage I have seen here.

I think he is wearing the watch 👀❤️❤️
Damn what a great concert thanks for sharing
I got to see his first solo show of the tour in NYC. No words. Guy is amazing.
I was there. It was my first JM concert ever. That show was dreamy and magical. And yes I cried. Don't judge.
It is only a good Mayer concert when you cry at least one time
Thank you for letting me relive this night! Doing God’s work!❤

Oooh I will rewatch this over and over - was there too❤️
Me too!

I love when he said, "Vultures doesn't work on acoustic guitar." And then he killed it.
So good ❤❤❤

Just go and see what happens, you either will enjoy the show or regret not going
so trippy seeing John from three different angles at once during Queen of California
Me tooooo❤❤❤❤❤
neon is still fucking crazy
It’s cool to see what he incorporated into is solo with slapping the low c from the live in LA performance
I'll be there on Dublin 😅😅
