- Does the Dual Clutch Transmission on the C8 Corvette need the hydraulic flush before changing the DCT filter? For the longest time, it was believed this was required in order to preserve the warranty, however not doing the flush procedure is not needed according to Chief Corvette engineers.

At the 24:-00 minute mark, the C8 engineers explain how the flush is not necessary and you dont need to bring the C8 to the dealer to perform the hydraulic flush. They clearly say, you dont have to do the hydraulic flush.
Thank you for following up on this. Great information.
Thanks. This is definitely the information needed to clear this matter up
Thanks for clarifying this, I"m about to change my DCT at 7500 mi..
Good report and evidence. DIYers rule and basically the more you change fluids the better. Usually don't go as long as the manual recommends.
I have a 21', it's not covered, I just checked with my dealer.. it timed out..
Thanks for confirming
Is the flush covered on the first free service? I have a 2023 C8.
No. The flush is not included
It is not a flush.
They CIRCULATE the fluid as if the car is driving.
This procedure is referred to as a "flush."
They then replace the external filter.
And YES, it is included at 7500 miles along with an oil change, compliments of GM.
