His only concern was the lack of Heat Shield, so he had the exhaust wrapped with Heat Shield “Tape” similar to those used in motorcycle exhaust. Man, I ordered the 2M Fabrication C8 cat back and only got the upper pipe. I also ordered the 4 simulators and chrome tips. I believe it was UPS fault. Box arrived opened. Now I'm waiting for 2M to do a damage claim. It really sucks because I had the Vette ready for the swap. Now I'm waiting to hear from 2M. They did email me and said they would make it right. Hopefully soon

Do these affect getting in and out of the car?

More and more vehicles are coming with transmissions that will not go into neutral without the engine running. With the new fuel saving measures automakers are using, when the vehicle shuts itself off and then restarts, issues are cropping up more and more. At stoplights, in construction zones, and highway traffic jams, when the starter fails these vehicles fail to reignite. With a transmission incapable of being simply placed into neutral to allow movement, it quickly becomes a very dangerous situation. BMW has been doing this for over a decade now, and I am constantly having to pick them up in the worst places because of this one, simple safety issue.

Intakes ref cooling vs HP output. The C7Z had the same design (intakes on hard top and omitted from convertible. The real difference is weight gain but a convertible mechanism. #theselfawareproject #v3tt3d #countrymusic #tampa

They both have 1064 horsepower. Those Intakes don’t increase or decrease horsepower just air to cool the engine bay

Cant thank you enough for making and posting this video. I would not have purchased the 2m fab cat back for my C8 if I hadnt seen this video. Im almost done with my install, but the hardware that comes with the provided clamps is junk. Possibly the clamps too. Ive got to buy some hardware locally. It appears the Vband clamps keep the exhaust in the hangers. Again, install has gone perfect except the Vband clamps.

Never noticed about the intakes befor watching the video, for sure the convertible dosent have 1064hp like the coupe

I was going to hit up Paragon for my E-Ray...but...I just may go your route. I do want the Z06 center exhaust of which Paragon sells, maybe 2M does as well. Awesome video!

THANKS FOR THE VIDEO. 👍 My 2020 Stingray which I purchased used January of 2024 is close to 12,000km and I'm considering doing this myself. But after reading some of the comments it sounds like you would actually suggest that at this point I should bring it to a dealership and have them do the entire flush and oil change as well. Also if I attempt this at home I will have to manage it with reversing the car up onto a set of ramps in my garage since I don't have an actual car lift. The ramps worked just fine for my engine oil change , but do you think they would be okay for this transmission service? . Or should I just bite the bullet and bring it back to the Alberta dealership (Competition Chevrolet Stony Plain) and have them do the entire job?

Its funny that this video came up for me just now right after I ordered the EOS fins to replace this diffuser. I've had this diffuser on my car for about 7 months, and it looked awesome, especially since I added red vinyl to the fins to make them pop more. Easily the best looking diffuser for the C8 in my opinion. BUT, this diffuser deformed and melted around the two bigger fins after I got the Borla ATAK exhaust installed. I am in AZ so things are just way hotter here, but still, it melted and I had to take it off. No damage to the OEM bumper panel underneath thankfully. I just ordered the EOS fins in carbon flash, hopefully they'll last, and if not I might just reorder this same diffuser in carbon fiber and have it painted carbon flash.

Excellent video and very helpful for anyone who wants to put on their own exhaust. This is a very reasonably priced exhaust, but their customer service could be a question mark (saw your note and glad it was resolved). Would like to have heard a couple of drive by clips. Thanks for a very interesting exhaust system. I know some systems are made in China. Is it possible to know where your system was made?

Manual drivers need more skill,care,respect,limitations to drive a C6 ZR1. As you learn to drive one,you will enjoy it because you are more engaged with the experience. Automatics make it more forgiving. Manual forces to become a better driver. Its definitely more fun.

I finally got my spoiler that you got but I could only get it in carbon fiber. Lol it makes the car look way aggressive at the back. Kind of like the z06. Thanks man
