Whoa Wicked Salty!!! Great to see you three are doing well! I loved seeing that sunken boat at 5:30, it's always kind of eerie for me to see a wreck underwater. Man, I feel like I just saw a rainbow with this video in my feed :-)
That corner area where chub dropped off threw me around for a good 3 hours on my way to nassau. Something about that spot. The weather wasnt even that bad. And those rollers in that anchorage could be real annoying. I had to rig a bridle a bunch of times. I was stuck in that area for about 12 days waiting for weather, drove me nuts.
I bought a brand new Catalina 30 in 1977 for $30,000. That is $149,423 in today's money. I was a live aboard for 5 years in Portland, OR on the Columbia River.
We just saw this video and recognized the boat Nina belonging to our good friends on at the 7:04 minute mark. The owner's name is ... wait for it ... Nina! Nina is a Catalina 350 Mk II.
What navigation software or app are you using when showing/describing your location in video? Love your style of videos! Always have. Glad to see you guys back at it.
Not too very much long ago I had a Catalina 30 and it only had the 5411 universal diesel in it but I still love that boat what a wonderful vessel that is! I've actually had three catalinas Catalina 25 Catalina 30 Catalina 36. Of course I have to say the 30 was extremely comfortable for two people with no problem whatsoever, I did like the 36 better though
