@@Schneids15 my dealer just replace my oil,cooler on L4 Verado and they told me that was probably cause because there was water that freeze . Do,you have the bulletin # related to this problem? Thank you
There was no water in the crankcase due to how this failed. Since oil pressure was greater and it was a very severe leak it went straight into the water. If you had a slow leak it could become present in the oil.

Just made bad. Before this happens merc had a service bulletin to peen over the copper tubes to avoid the rubber blowing out. This was too far gone.

How did you remove end cap
Pop out clip and it pulls out.
