Hello, How great are your stitchings. I am 80 years young and have just resumed stitching after a stroke. Would you ever consider sharing with me your Mailhat D'Auvergne chart of the deer. I fear it has been retired. Thank you for considering it.
Hello! Wonderful projects! I am hoping to do a Stacy Nash month for my birthday month in June! It would be great if you joined in, I will be focusing on one or 2 smalls of hers. I have projects that slow me down, simply because the fabric isn’t co-operating, or I’m plain old tired! Love to have a couple on the go. But I love stitching on one piece and watching it grow too! Happy stitching.
Thank you Lizzy. I would be honoured to join you for a Stacy Nash stitch along in June. I have so many of her patterns that I am itching to stitch. Happy stitching , Nerissa
Thank you for sharing your time with us showing your gorgeous WIPs, you have done beautiful samplers and I love your little car stitching projects, every time you mention about a car project I tell myself to do the same. Everytime I'm stuck in the for a length of time I remember you saying a car project is great to fill in the time when waiting. I still haven't put a car project in my car! I will do this tomorrow so I don't forget. Thank you for watching my video and giving it a plug. I live the variety that you stitch and enjoy stitching while watching. Look forward to catching up at Christchurch retreat and stitching together while sharing a laugh or two or more. Take care and happy stitching Nerissa from Judy🌷🌷
Your samplers are beautiful and you have inspired me to Sarah Braizear 2018 - The Queen of the May. Thank you for sharing . Another floss tuber recommended your station and here I am from colorful Colorado.
Happy New Year. I’ve had a wonderful visit with you, seeing all you lovely WIPS (which I have many as well) and like your idea of no pressure. While watching I’ve been stitching on my blessings sampler which is Gigi R Ellen Johnson using DMC 326 (not 321)and need to sort another as 3831 seems to blend in. Wondering where in NZ you are getting your Prairie Schooler charts. Blessings and happy stitching
Thank you so much Clare . Oh I love the Ellen Johnson sampler. I get my prairie schooler charts from Art n frame in Christchurch. Happy stitching, Nerissa
Fantastic WIP parade! Thank you for sharing! I am stitching that huge Dutch sampleras well and I use the fabric from Fox and Rabbit that you mentioned. x
Thank you for watching. I am so enjoying stitching the Dutch sampler - I must pick it up again soon and put some more stitches in . Happy stitching , Nerissa
Hi Nerissa, Love the WIP parade. Are you as hot as we are here in Brisbane? I also started Dutch Beauty on 1st Jan. I did a conversion to AVAS silks on 40ct (what count is yours on, you didn't say) Desert Taipan from Fox and Rabbit. I changed some of the paler colours as not showing up on my linen. What do you reckon is that weird dark outlined thing on top right of the tree? I didn't like it so replaced with another bird. As I have it on a scroll frame and the width is so wide, it is on sideways and I am working from top left down the side, and will gradually work across. Happy New Year! Keryn
Thank you for watching my flosstube. We are currently have extremely hot temperatures in Christchurch. I am so pleased to hear that you have started Dutch Beauty. I need to pull her out and stitch some more. Happy stitching, Nerissa
Ann Behney...I just love your channel. I have watched you from the beginning and am amazed how much you have done. You are a hardworking lady and I admire you.
Hello. I am 80 years young and resuming my stitching in mono as it is easier than multi colors. Would you ever consider sharing with me the Mailat D'Auvergne chart design of the deer? It is absolutely wonderful. Thanks!
Thank you for watching my flosstube. Happy to hear you are stitching again. I have already passed on the chart for Mailat D’Auvergne. Happy stitching, Nerissa
Gorgeous Nerissa!! I think you have swayed me into trying a sampler this year! That Brenda Gervais one that you’re doing teeny tiny is now on my radar LOL - hope the start of 2024 has been good to you, talk soon! Nic x
Hello, just started to watch your videos. Please is there a video that goes over all of your stitched wall hangings? If so which. Idea is it please? Thank you! Lovely work
Thank you for watching. I do not have a video that shows all of my sampler wall in the same one. I normally show them separately in my videos, as past finishes or when I have fully finished them. I will try and film an video of my sampler wall . Happy stitching , Nerissa
Thank you Nerissa, that would be wonderful. I keep pausing to try to see them. You have some of ladies you have stitched and I just got a glance of them in video. I am especially interested in seeing them!! So lovely. There were some I haven’t seen before and I was hoping to get a closer look at them. So fun to see. Thanks for sharing!
What a wonderful WIP parade! So many amazingly beautiful pieces both completed and on the wall as well as your WIPS. Thank you so much for sharing. I love a nice long WIP parade so thank you so much. Can’t wait to watch your progress and new starts in 2024.
You have so many beautiful wips Nerissa! That was a wonderful watch. Also I totally understand what it can be like to pick up a wip and just not be feeling it. I only really have two main goals for this year, get stitches on every wip, 100 minimum, and finish Villa Mirabilia. Totally achievable, allows me to make progress on all of them, but doesn't put pressure on me either. Hope the parcel you're waiting on arrives on time and hope 2024 is a great one for you
Thank you Zeb. I am hoping to stitch in all of my wips and make some good progress on them all, especially some of the older ones . Two of my parcels arrived , but a couple of others are taking way longer then usual. Happy stitching, Nerissa
What a fun Flosstube!! All of your projects are lovely …. I always give the Kringles dept store one a second look as it’s just darling . Haven’t bought it yet but gosh it is fun to see yours!! Happy new year to you!!!
Thank you so much for watching, Kringles is a favourite Christmas stitch of mine. I will be sad when I have finished stitching it. Happy new year. Happy stitching, Nerissa
So interesting to see all your WIPS, there's certainly some large projects ahead! You mention you don't bobbinate now - how do your organise and manage your floss? All the best 😊
Thank you, Barbara. Yes there are some big wips that I will be working on over the next year. I use thread drops for my thread now. As most of the time I stitch with one thread, I have found it easier to use the thread drops and pull one thread off easier. Happy Stitching, Nerissa
