I love it all and I'm so happy to see a new video from you. I like how you have a package of needles with your Ann Dale threads. What a good idea.

Great to see all you are doing! Love those samplers!! And now I’m off to punch extra holes in all my Weeks floss - thank you for such a clever idea. There are always new tricks to learn (even for an old dog like me)

Hey Nerissa! Another great visit, and yay to seeing the kitties! Great progress on all the wips and I love the customisations you'll be making to your samplers. Nicola had a great video about reproduction samplers and I agree with her philosophy and yours. Midnight for the Christmas stitching was just an ingenius idea, and I imagine there will be a few orders made with Catherine after that share of yours lol and yay to Christmas finishing in June! Still going ahead with the challenge in group to make June a finishing month. Hope you had a fantastic afternoon with your stitching friends and hope the rest of the month is kind to you, and productive. Take care Nerissa

I have been prepping my finishes, so that they are really to be fully finished on June. Have to make way for new Christmas stitching plans.our stitching afternoon was wonderful.

Thank you Nerissa for sharing your work and enthusiasm for stitching and samplers. You are a huge and positive influence for good in the cross stitch community!❤
In response to the comment earlier about your “lack of respect “ to the original sampler makers: By adding our work/stitching to help keep this original design alive for future generations we ARE a part of the history of this ( or any other) sampler and it’s design. Thanks to the designers who share their charting for a nominal fee, we are allowed to become a part of this history!😊
Keep up your great work and encouragement Nerissa!
PS I may had stopped the video to make a couple of purchases. 😉

Enjoy your day at work and some lovely stitching time afterwards. Congrats 🎉 on finishing your stitching of 12 days, inspiring me to carry on with mine. I would have loved to stitch that wonderful two houses sampler by While Iris Naps but was priced out of my budget 😢. Though I’ve loved seeing your progress. I too am stitching ‘A Stitch in Time’ in DMC which wasn’t getting very far as DMC 321 isn’t my red colour,so changed to DMC 815 and seeing some wonderful progress. Blessings and happy stitching.

Thank you Clare. I really enjoyed stitching the 12 berries - now to find time to assemble them .
The while Irish Naps design was expensive, but I am sure she will release it in the future.
I am enjoying stitching- a stitch in time design. Happy stitching

Nerissa, Carol has told me time and time again to watch you, so finally I obeyed her! I enjoyed the visit very much. You are a powerful stitcher!!!! Would you kindly tell me the name of the smaller sampler I can see over your shoulder in this video. It appears to have a hill in the center with an arch atop it…..that may be a very poor description. It is charming from what I can see of it. The Smith Sampler is my very favorite sampler pattern. One day I will work up the courage to get the pattern and begin that piece. I loved the Christmas sets you have stitched. I love your enthusiasm for Christmas!!! I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to your next flosstube. Carol in Texas

Thank you so much for watching my flosstube. I think the sampler you are asking about is the one called ‘Amy Cann 1831 from hand’s across the sea samplers. I have enjoyed stitching on the smith sampler so much. Happy stitching, Nerissa

Not impressed with your lack of respect for the person who designed the original sampler that you are stitching. You choose it for a reason. You are free to put your name on it for your family but please don't discount the creativity of the original designer. The fact that the reproduction designer is making thousands of dollars on the creativity of the original designer upsets me as well. It is still a copy in my opinion that someone has stolen and copyrighted for their own gain.

Hi, thanks for watching . If you are talking about the smith sampler , I always place a typed message on the back of each sampler , stating the original origin of the sampler, original stitcher and reproduction designer.
If you are talking about the Ann Dale Sampler - I am leaving her name on the sampler and I am adding mine, as well.
      Happy stitching

Wasn’t it Nicola Parkman that said we should add our names so that in the future it isn’t mistaken for an original?
