i think dos2 is one of the best game ive ever played. its atmosphere, story, charachters and more... like to see these kind of speedrun videos. keep it up fam
Absolutely and considering it's like 7 years old at this point, the game still holds up quite well when compared to its newer better brother bg3. Such an amazing game with so much to explore

I know this wasn't the best run but since its unofficial I didn't want to spend a ton of time optimizing it. even with all the mistakes it can still be pretty quick and I want people who are just needing the achievement to understand that. so when the tutorial part is released then it will be easy for others to do this on their own :)
I know its old news but damn that act 1 skip with backlash is heckin crazy. Hours of grinding tiny bits of exploration xp, just gone with a single click. Good job with the run
It's always nice to know that people enjoy the content ☺️ I think it would be cool to do a restricted run (as seen on speed run leaderboards) but I want to move towards playing Baldur's Gate 3 challenges as I haven't gotten much of a chance to do so.
@@Worldlyy I feel you, I haven't had yet any time to even purchase the BG3, but since it's got such a nice reviews everywhere, I gotta give Larian more of my money :)
So weird seeing Original Sin 1 and 2 after Baldurs Gate 3, each of them such a massive step forward. Original Sin 2 was weird in the sense that it was so easy to break the game's mechanics, it was always super hard to tell if you were actually playing it as it was meant to be played. BG3 is much less flexible, it's more structured. DOS2's pyramids, deathfog barrels, weight based item throw damage, it's obscenely large AOE spells that covered everything in damaging surfaces, the ridiculous amount of teleport / jump spell meant that while it was fun, balance was non existent, the player able to do anything. The music and ambiance was complete fire though, I'd say it's on par with BG3.
That's why you gotta use terrain transmutation and get Hannag with lava first! But yeah, it can be pretty tough on the soul when you lose a run you've spent a lot of time on. 😞 But don't give up! If you enjoy the game then definitely give it another go, you might find things to be a lot easier and faster

@@Worldlyyit’s really cool looking at BG3 and seeing the bones of the Divinity series acting as the foundation it’s built on.
Even after having finished the game multiple times and being a practitioner of Barrelmancy, this entire run still feels like a mad dream. Mad props!
There are quite a few talented runners out there and I could never have gotten as good as I have at the speed run without those people ☺️

Hannag ended my honor mode run with her lava attack so I've lost all desire to try again lol. Maybe I should just try again abusing telekinesis,

How does being an undead lizard help ? I thought that was the least substantial undead race choice so strange to see for a speed run
Lizard has the fastest animations for haste and such, and undead has playdead and is immune to deathfog 😊
