    1:53 why?
    why it happens in some cells and not in others?
    shouldn't it happen to all cells since all are exposed to the same condition?

      some cells are not exposed to enough iodine, therefore those 'some' cells show plasmolysis but can simply just not be seen.

      The repartition of water is not necessarily all or nothing. It depends on the osmotic potential of the solution. An iso-osmotic solution will cause about 50% of cells to appear plasmolyzed.
