    I can’t wait until this Covid-19 mess is all over, so I can get deep into the crowds of a major city and take 1000s of pictures with my Leica M240, which I just picked up..your monochrome images are amazing...great images...must be in a crowded scenario, going to work, leaving work, sale event, crowds don’t stop and ask why your taking a picture.... just keep walking, there are endless moments to record...

    While there's a lot to like on a technical level, there's only four shots in the video with people interacting with each other. While some of the expressions are great, mostly people aren't really doing anything except sitting or walking. I don't know whether it's a conscious choice in your subject matter, or edit, or a reflection the times. It seems very isolated and a bit repetitive. I don't know if that was the intention. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer.

    Terrific captures. I'm relatively new to the M10 and getting used to the simplicity of its settings. Since you mentioned in a previous post, ' zone focusing most of times', do you have a favourite zone range and aperture for the street or do you fluctuate your zones a lot when using your 35mm?

    • @Peter-df1br
      @Peter-df1br 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@streetsaheadphoto Thanks for the info. I have one more question with the M10 though. For your style of photography, what is your preference for exposure setting, Spot, Centre or Multi? What seems to work best for you?

    • @Peter-df1br

    I don't understand close up photos of random people when there is no further information. Whenever I see a photo with one person in focus I ask "who is that", "what is this person doing", "what's the story", etc. All this is missing...... This gives me nothing.

    • @stuartwalker121
      @stuartwalker121 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tom, the whole point of any photograph is to ask questions...

    • @tomw0815
      @tomw0815 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stuartwalker121 I disagree. The main point of photography is and was documenting. For me a documentation does not work without text. A good documentation (text + images) might raise questions, an image alone is most of the time not capable of doing this.

    • @stuartwalker121
      @stuartwalker121 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      But Tom, everyone brings their own opinions to the table. Okay, say the photographer's caption takes you into the ballpark and gives you some general meaning - the main power in the photograph, any photograph is the VIEWER'S reaction to it. And that is what the photographer sets out to do. To get a reaction. His own text may not be what you are feeling and seeing.

      Hiroshi: I was just curious because of the closeness of the subjects. I appreciate that you can get close with a 28mm, which I assume most were taken with, but it still takes a lot of nerve, which frankly most of us don’t have!! Brilliant photography though.
      By the way, I really would appreciate it if you could let me know what the music is. I’ve been trying to track it down (even with Shazam) but unsuccessfully. Is it a piece by George Skoroulis by any chance? 🙂
