Great to see you back on the screen great way to sell the bales, be a big variation around eyrecourt with the weight of the bales, when they would be selling them.😂😂

Here in Donegal, Ireland we're paying 3-4 euro for the (small) bales of hay much the same for the small bales of straw.
Round bales are going for 30-35 euro.
And round bales of straw are going for 25-30 euro. Good Wexford straw 30-35.
    (Chamber baler 4x4)
None of that weighing craic here, typical Irish thing ! 😂😂

Are you saying that the Irish man would take the extra bale and say nothing, and we the island of saint and scholars. 😂😂😂

It's a great sign of the buyers going back years.

It says a lot in their favour that your bale buyers take 150 and leave 1. What would Paddy do. He would take them aĺl and as regards paying a lot of them are good with " il see you again""

How big of a deal was it to move from Ireland to France and buy a farm I presume there’s a lot of paperwork and applications for various things I’m guessing ?

we sell our straw and all the time i get from customers is your round bales are too dear, i can buy bales at £18, i tell them i can bale you bales and sell them to you at £18 if you want but there wont be much in them, i could never understand why bales here are never sold by weight

Prices in Portugal are more than 200 euros 1t of hay, I heard that people are buying in France and selling in Portugal. Any one knows what is the cost of transportation per ton from France to Portugal?

90 euro per ton for straw baled isn't too bad i guess. Last year we were closer to 110/115 for local straw here in the Netherlands. And that was a good year. Later on we got German straw for 120-130 (depending on the delivery date). Not sure what it will be at this moment, heard something 117/118 delivered from France (have to unload myself). That wouldn't be too bad considering the year. Although i don't know how the weather was in France during wheat harvest. 😊

Hi just found your channel I notice you like Ford tractors did you bring them over from Ireland. I am looking for a 4610 for use on my property in the Mayenne district any idea where I might find one either in France or Ireland do you have a website

We brought the 4630 and 7740 from Ireland, the rest we bought in France. Try Leboncoin or Agriaffaires in. France or Done Deal in Ireland. Good luck. Declan
