    Lovely upload! The french without question have created some of the best dishes hands down and I am so thankful for their culinary skills.
    Now the discussion of where food is harvested is different. I do think it's cute that they actually believe their oysters to be superior (and they are ummmm, great foie gras) but fail to admit that Canada's eastern shores are both best in flavour and size. It's all due to the temperature folks! But again, we love France!

    They sell half of their Oyster stock around Christmas?
    Are Oysters popular for Christmas in Europe?
    Here in Australia it's Prawns, people go NUTS for prawns on Christmas. The price practically doubles in the 10 days lead up to and following Christmas.
    Also, fun fact, I've never met an Aussie that calls Prawns 'Shrimp' or that drinks Fosters. Weird huh?

    • @Aspett0
      @Aspett0 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      They're not plastic... and I doubt that a few pouches being lost at sea every year is a major problem when tons of plastic are released into the ocean every minute by rogue countries and industries. Let's focus on what matters.

    • @TanThighsYum
      @TanThighsYum 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Aspett0 Agreed, and based on how he is setting them up and the work ethic he has I'm sure it's very minimal loss. My only issue was him dumping out the water inside the Oyster before eating it, that's a no no.

    • @Aspett0

      @@TanThighsYum Really? That's funny, in France, emptying what we call the "first water" (the one that's in the oyster when you first open it) is a must do. We do enjoy the water that's produced afterwords though, because it's sweeter and less salty.

    • @HighChancellorAdam
