Vince, are you going to do a follow up for 2026? Sadly I doubt there will be any official recognition of the country turning 250. I would love to see what you would come up with. Part of me hopes it would be as positive as 200. Then again I would understand if 250 had more of an edge. Still, warts and all. I think there is a lot of good here to celebrate. You are just the man to do it!
Vince, I don’t know if you read these comments or not but I love your work and I hope you’re well. You deserve much more recognition than you’ve received.
I best remembered Vince Collins for the "Jazzy Alphabet" cartoon from "Sesame Street"; it got me wondering... Did Collins also produce a series of number cartoons for the 70's bilingual PBS children's series "Villa Alegre"? (Or was it Jeff Hale?)
@MotoScootMech The colors here are perfect as far as I'm concerned, I really don't enjoy the AV Geeks transfer that's been shared around with for years.
While Washington is missing from the Mt. Rushmore picture, he is seen "crossing the Delaware" right in front of that picture. I think it was purposeful and gives him more prominence rather than less.
Me: Oh look! An Illuminati eye with pyramid. That must be a critique or just a joke. Animation: Produced by the United States information agency. Me: Oh no please.
@ReSistaNceCitizenX I'm pretty sure that's just what that would look like if a circle was spinning around with a flat thing like that. Don't think so hard.
You forgot to mention Africans who still actively practice slavery and conquest to this day and the fact that Americans were among the few first to abolish slavery.
Wonderful.
This is up on the US National Archives page! Amazing work, love the hand-drawn animation!

This is the most beautiful piece of animation I've ever seen!
Beautiful!
Watch malice in wonderland

lol, why wouldn't there be any recognition of the 250th anniversary?
@@brandonthesteele We might not make it that far.
Huge fan, Mr. Collins.

Classic 1970s psychedelic animation.
I best remembered Vince Collins for the "Jazzy Alphabet" cartoon from "Sesame Street"; it got me wondering...

I don't know if this was supposed to make me love America or hate it. Great job!
@MotoScootMech The colors here are perfect as far as I'm concerned, I really don't enjoy the AV Geeks transfer that's been shared around with for years.

Trippin balls. Patriotic balls!

Every 4th, you'll know where I'll be! Happy Fourth people!!!
When creeps start talking about making America great again, THIS is the USA I get nostalgic for.
I’m from the UK, knew exactly who you meant, yeah agree. This is cool Americana.
@B0omer96 LOL
Good ol 80s US of A
me too
Anyone notice who was missing from Mt Rushmore. The little things say a lot.
Probably could only fit 3 heads in that frame, but yes, Jefferson is missing.
While Washington is missing from the Mt. Rushmore picture, he is seen "crossing the Delaware" right in front of that picture. I think it was purposeful and gives him more prominence rather than less.
That...was....AWESOME!!❤️🇺🇸💙
hey i remember a part of this on a jake chudnow music video. you really are an accomplished
Wow, this is trippy!
this is bad ass.
Me: Oh look! An Illuminati eye with pyramid. That must be a critique or just a joke.
Animation: Produced by the United States information agency.
Me: Oh no please.
Well the Illuminati is on the dollar bill so
one of my alltime favorites, although the audio quality kind of blows
YOU ARE AWESOME WICKED I LOVE THIS WOW
Malice in wonderland meets life is flashing before your eyes
@blutfrosch I'll say the audio on this clip is far better than the one often found on archive.org that is so low and tinny.
2:11 - Yep, it's hot dogs that make America great, and don't you forget that!
Bicentennial? Wow, that means you animated this in 1976.
i actually mashed this up with a mars volta song a while ago. it's on my profile
Groovey
Is there a 10 hours vídeo of this music track?
Does anyone know of a music video that used cuts of this clip? I’ve been searching for it but can’t find it
Genius
0:17 must be American and british soldiers?
This is AWESOME.... #Sotrippy
just realized sumtin....when the peacesign/eagle are flippin around, if u pause it just right it resembles a cross....
Vince Collins made me try LSD.
Allan Struthers Of course some may scoff and say that psychedelia was passe by the time this was made.
Anyone know the song?
So Much Alive by Edward Simon
@blutfrosch At least this has color too. The usual clip also suffers from faded colors such that blues appeared more like greens.
What, in the name of the holy god of all that's good and kind on the planet earth, did i just watch?
Why Trump don't use this animation for his electoral campaign ?
I've watched this particular animation quite a few times, but not on this channel. Are you actually the artist behind it?
+chemistryguy Right -- it's got my name on it, but it's public domain............
I just thought I’d point out the fact I was the 969th like
@RetroToledo yeah, have to agree
*STONED AF.*
@ReSistaNceCitizenX I'm pretty sure that's just what that would look like if a circle was spinning around with a flat thing like that. Don't think so hard.
Soul sacrifice ?
I sent #Q here
Rock.....grunge ......
the song looks like led zeppelin
BUZZKILL.
love me some psychedelic propaganda
Now THIS is propaganda
i love this art style. but you forgot to include slavery and booting the natives off the land ;)
You forgot to mention Africans who still actively practice slavery and conquest to this day and the fact that Americans were among the few first to abolish slavery.
You forgot that the American Indians attacked the European settlers.
this version sucks... the colors are all off and dont give that true 70s feel.
Lol the colors look "off" because this is from the 70s. There is no other version of this lmao
i kind of really dislike america, but this animation is superb
I believe in America. (4 people will get this)
