The R9 will be a toruey-er street bike that packs a punch and is highly trackable. Ironically, the gsxr-750 and the yamaha r9 are most likely going to be opposite to what one would intuitively expect in terms of riding position. It is likely that r9 will have a more aggressive stance (seating position) and be more ready to more willingly lean over in the corners. I think the Yamaha positions itself as a good alternative to the gsxr-750, rather than a replacement to the R6, and a more powerful R7. The main question one has to ask themself is if one wants a more traditional supersport (gsxr600, zx-6r, cbr600, gsxr750, R1, cbr1000, etc.) or if one wants something in between - a hybrid - the R9.

Blue rims kills the look. Brushed aluminum way to go or blacked out brushed aluminum absolutely zero "zip" in the look because of that quite the opposite coming in flat😊😊
Yeah, they made it look like the Yamaha R3, which just like the R7 shouldn't even exist. If you want a bike that slow, you can just walk. Save us all the manufacturing R&D and just WALK.
Maybe slower in a straight line, but even if so, not by much. Same whp but these make almost 40% more torque than an R6, with a far more usable low and mid range powerband. This will be a far superior street bike than the R6 ever was or will be, and will power out of corners far better. Will easily beat an R6 in 95% of scenarios and probably even an R1 in 90% of street scenarios under felony speeds. Note, I've had half a dozen 600s, half a dozen literbikes, and now ride a CP3 powered XSR900. I prefer it over any of them for street riding, and the R9, comfort aside, will be better.

This bike is literally 12.5k what’s a new zx6r??? Also 12k! Why are people so pressed about the price it’s just as good of a bike as any 600 I don’t understand.
Everyone hating on the r9 but don’t hate the mt09 just like they hate the r7 but don’t hate the mt07 it’s the same bike if you hate on one you hate its counter part
The r9 will be a fantastic road sport bike. If people are buying the r9 for the track they're out of their mind. It's like they don't realize Suzuki makes a GSXR 750. For similar money nobody in their right mind would buy an r9 for the track over a true super sport. I'm sure people will argue with me but as I said they're not in their right mind.
My dream bike ❤
@1:56 Who is chase kidding here😂winglet might give us aerodynamic advantages… yeah we are constantly hitting over 150mph on the road and corners 😅
Well, you might not live in Germany. But I do.
Jokes aside the Autobahn is boring, like seriously why do people love riding in a straight line so much.
I nearly got deaf doing 170kmh on my cb500f the other day.
2025 WSSP race
Ducati 955 V2、MV Agusta F3 800、Triumph Street Triple 765 RS、Kawasaki Ninja600、HONDA CBR600、YAMAHA R6 、YAMAHA R9
Bro literally every single one of the r bikes looks like an iteration of the other. Obviously they’re not spot on but when you see one you can tell really easily that it’s a Yamaha sport bike
Winglet is the ugliest thing that ever happened to bikes .
Some look great but I'm not a fan of these.
@@The-Wisdom-Whisperer Difficult man, I could maybe gloss over the RSV4's winglets but on everything else they just look rice
They can be made tasteful but the r9 looks like it has a table infront of it
the outgoing V4 R looks sick with them !
Bagian depan sepeda motor ini terlihat sangat buruk,
Oh yeah... that's the stuff!
Great Content !
seems too good to be true. lets see how first year does. it wil probably sell crazy
Bro those brembos and that suspension are probably going to be the shit.
More companies need to just slap overkill components on their not top tier bikes.
Like I'd love to see brembos on the cbr650r.
Zx6r is better, the only thing that lacks is cruise control
I will definitely upgrade my R7 to this one. But Only if it's still being built in Japan. I don't trust that CF Moto partnership

Blue rims kills the look. Brushed aluminum way to go or blacked out brushed aluminum absolutely zero "zip" in the look because of that quite the opposite coming in flat😊😊
Looks incredibly modern, yet, outdated at the same time(?) lmao I don't know why, it just gave me that feeling
The winglets make it outdated, the R6 essence is timeless.
Timeless design
Yeah, they made it look like the Yamaha R3, which just like the R7 shouldn't even exist.
If you want a bike that slow, you can just walk. Save us all the manufacturing R&D and just WALK.
What's gooooood!
Definitely not worth it it's going to be slower than an R6. You can get a gsxr 750 for the same price and have a faster bike.
I don't think it's gonna be slower until you reach the top speed on the R9 tbh. We're talking a lot more torque here.
The top speed btw. of which you'd never get close to in the real world if you're not completely reckless and dumb
holy f the R9 is 23.2k AUD the R6 was 19.7K AUD this bike is costly
Offers a lot tho lol
Jesus christ, I thought the 13k€ for a faired up Mt09 was already steep.
@@englishsteel-nz6im It offers alot more than 3k from what the R7 offers.
But that 3k difference between the R7 and mt07 is still wack.
@Daniel-dj7fh R7 is a bike if you got a great used deal--- sure. New? No lol
@@englishsteel-nz6im Really,? Compared to the Triumph 765RS, it offers less. Heavier, pricier, uglier, terrible riding position.
So, they're now in contention with Triumph, but Triumph isn't making the 765 for a super sport bike.
Can you make a video about new r3 please. Thanks man
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 thank you Yamaha
sweet but I hope there's a way to easily opt out of thos winglets, either from factory or third party
I'm really not a fan of the winglets, or winglets in general
How long until Yamaha comes with the R9M?
That’s gonna be sick.
cruise control and bi directional quick shifter and im good.
Will the R9 have a more comfortable seating position than the R7, or will it be the same?
I gotta get one.
That exhaust is monstrosity 😭
Make a video about the new CFMoto KTM 790 Adventure!!
The winglet is big af for my taste, but the rest? The rider aids, the breaks damn
Why there is a gap in the middle of bike at engine part
So what you're saying is that this is the new giveaway bike? Got it
