I've thought we must hang on because there is something bigger for the human being and what a shame if we fail.

He sounds stoned to the moon. But everything still makes sense.

Thank you - I'm glad you liked it! Now that all three segments have been published, I'll be creating a playlist. However, if you mean a continuous start-to-finish video of the entire conversation, that will be longer in coming: I don't have the equipment and the studio has doubled its fees (I'm not 100% happy with them anyway), so I'm trying to raise funding traditionally and on RocketHub. This is likely to be my last video - at least for now. Any funding ideas or connections are very welcome.

unsure...this was my last video until I get funding...all ideas welcome...but all videos for a given guest are also available as playlists

For some, perhaps...but if one understands the trends and patterns in scientific discovery and technological innovation, and the accelerating rate at which these are occurring, the predictions that you've likened to beliefs turn out to be rationally derived. Yes, imagination is required - but where in the annals of progress is it not? After all, we have Einstein's theories due in part to his view that, in his own words, imagination is more important than knowledge.

I wonder if this black-holes new entities will have topic to discuss like singularity 2.0

I would suggest that we can hardly begin to imagine what these far-future AGIs might discuss...perhaps realms of mathematics and physics that make string theory look like the earliest emergence of hominid counting.

when the rate of technological change approaches an asymptote (real time)
