I would really like to say that it is the first time i actually follow the steps clearly and without any doubt that i understood them. What a great teacher.
Hi Luis, I taught math classes for more than fifteen years and watched hundreds of videos on this topic. I can say that I am amazed by your videos and your teaching style. Examples, visualizations are great! You simplify the hard topics so well! Having a math phd tells the difference, too!
Wow, thank you so much for such a kind contribution! It really helps me continue putting content out there. Let me know you have any suggestions for content you’d like to see!
@@SerranoAcademy I feel like you have enough accessible content available as is 😅 Just showing some love b4 I buy your Grokking Book (using your YT discount code). Thanks for making these topics so accessible
Great examples of ML applications, and I love these visuals!! They are an excellent tool to make the algorithms and concepts more accessible. The world is fortunate to have teachers like you in it Luis! :)
Thank you Gaia! It's an honor that someone as knowledgeable as you enjoyed the videos. Looking forward to learning from you about all the other aspects of AI and its impact in humanity. :)
To understand this, back in college, it took our prof. 3 one hr lectures to explain it to us. And you did this beautifully within 30 mins! Awesome job!
I am preparing for the Google Professional ML Engineer Certification Exam and this is GOLD. Thank you so much for working hard to create such a great playlist. "If you can't explain it to a six-year old, you don't understand it yourself" (AE). Fun of your knowledge and work
This is one of the best explanation of fundamentals of machine learning algorithms I have seen for someone who has no background in machine learning. Thanks for making this video.
So much info in 30 minutes 🤯....the best part is the simplification . Thank you so much sir...this is best introduction to ml models I have seen so far.
perhaps the best explanation of algorithms. stumbled upon this video while searching for something else; but i stopped my all other work and completed watching this video! thanks Serrano.
What a great way of explaining machine learning. Thank you very much. For this video to be on TH-cam for more than a year, deserves at least two million views.
Damn. By far the best introduction video ever. I was honestly scared after going through many coursera introductory videos. And I was literally on the verge of never looking back into ML. Thanks for this.
Great explanation! I was very new to Machine Learning. But, now, having gone through your simpler explanation with real-life examples, I have got a clear idea about ML. Thank you, Mr. Serrano!

I just wanna say thank you Mr. Serrano for such a great explanation....i just love the way you explain the concepts....once again thank you sir......kindly please upload more videos on Machine Learning......:)
Thank you Punita, glad you liked them! I have another video on Deep Learning, (th-cam.com/video/BR9h47Jtqyw/w-d-xo.html) and very soon I'll be uploading another one of Convolutional Neural Networks. :)
Brilliant, thank you for the excellent explanations of the algorithms. Very well presented, simple but effective. The slides and key points made make it appear simple, the time just flew watching the video.
Thank you Ankur! Will keep them coming. The material is not super easy anyway, so if you understand it, pretty sure your IQ is well into the triple digits. :)
Wow, One of the best tutorial videos I have seen. Plain and clear english for not english speakers and really well explained the concepts. Great. Thanks.
As someone who has taken an econometrics course (econ major) and now works as a Software Engineer on our NLP pipeline, this helps fill in the bits of knowledge that I'm lacking in machine learning! I didn't even know that's how naive bayes work.
Superb real-life examples - clear and easy to follow - and excellent explanations. This is a perfect video for an introduction to Machine Learning. Thank you so much!
This is one of the best keynotes I have ever seen in the topic. Thanks! It would be nice to reach out the slides that you created. Is there any chance?
Thanks Oguzhan! As of right now I can't, since I use them for a few different things, but will be putting all this in a blog sometime, I'll keep you posted!
Great intro, thank you. I'd say this is a data scientist toolbox not a machine learning intro, but since you defined learning as 'solving problems given previous data', even linear regression prediction counts in. I love the K-means explanation. Thank you!
The algorithms are well presented, and I thank you for that. But you don't provide context, categories, use cases, efficiency details,... That could be really useful for me to be able to link those algorithms to encountered problems :)
Good ideas, I'll add some real life applications for the next one, and some comments about efficiency, implementation, etc. Any more ideas please let me know!
This was meant as a somewhat short introduction to ML. If he had added everything you said, then it would have been hours and hours long and people would have skipped it, because it would have been too long. From what you learn here, there are plenty more advanced videos to watch.
You are one of the best teachers in the world. Great teaching combined with apt visuals to make learning complex topics easy for us. Thank you so much. Please upload similar videos on Deep learning, Cognitive computing, AI, IoT, Coding etc.
You have a very well clear idea about what machine learning is. Thank you for this beautiful explanation and usage of meaningful visuals that could be understand by everyone.
Seriously, you need a book to teach how to teach. I am a Phd student in AI and still finding your method so enlightening. It would also be great to add more methods to the mix! Thank you! Your book is great too !!
Realy, it's the first cours that can be followed by i child and it's not a critical but a compliment. realy thank you Mr Serrano for the easiest course in ML in the World. And I weigh my words.
This instructor deserve to be the best in machine learning teaching, if you have paid extensive training, i would definitely buy it, you made the science like simple game, and i really like it, especially the visualization. Please dear, share the full training course URL
By far, the best introduction ever. Amazing way of explaining things. Hope you produce more of these high quality videos to simplify complex algorithms. Spectacular 👏👍👏🙏
Luis again another excellent job "A Friendly Introduction to Machine Learning" thanks. Do not stop here we have insatiable desire to watch masterpieces from you. Do not carry away such as baseball you always are good as your last to beats.
You the best -- I have been banging my head on ML for long , read books and saw videos but you made me understand it in easy way . Thank you very much for this video .
Thank you for this awesome tutorial. It moved at a brisk pace and had excellent visuals and commentary. Easily the best 1/2 hour intro on this subject.
I was quite impressed with the way you have explained... its very easy to understand to even a primary students... great work... Please keep uploading such types of interactive videos..
This is by far the best intro to ML I've ever seen, amazing job Luis! I'm doing research on ML at work right now and this video definitely gave me a great summary of what ML is!
I wouldn't want to repeat what others have been saying in the comments, but WOW, is this a great explanation of a complex topic. I just regret I only now discovered it. Will watch all your other videos. THANK YOU for putting the effort in this.
