I heard that the reason they decided to name the band 'The Germs' is because it was cheaper to print on a t-shirt than 'Sophistifuck and the Revlon Spam Queens'.

Honestly I think the dude did a horrible job, putting aside that he doesn't look anything like him (not his fault) he didn't even really try to sound like him. His speech impediment, his inflections, his cadence. He barely tried to imitate any of it which is weird because it's not like al colapone or someone from the turn of the century, we have plenty of audio of Darby giving interviews so there was a lot for the dude to pull from

Its worth a watch its entertaining , smart, funny, dark , and for the most part accurate (from what I know) . The 3 surviving Germs were involved in the making of it. Its got some pretty vanilla acting and some rock and roll movie Cliches but its a solid watch. Way better than the Runaways or CBGB.

It's a good movie for the sheer knowledge and to see what they were about, some of the acting is cringe worthy but over all its an ok movie.
Not to be confused with the original Beverly Hills 90210, which was set in Kuchak, Armenia.

ha ha ! i'm watching darby and michelle right now from the decline and THIS trailer looks so rad man-fucking shit-anyone that sees this movie will have a laugh if it is like the trailer. crash was a sad waste(though I did not know him personally) i wonder if they glorified darby in this movie-hope not because there was nothing there to idolize like i have heard some reminiscing(?) & saying now---don't waste your time instead if you want to see this kind period watch instead "THE DECLINE of western civilization"
