MSI used such a great 1080p/240Hz/3ms panel in the 2019 GT76 Titan. They should be using something of that caliber as their default by now, even in the more budget machines. Biggest shame on MSI is charging these prices while skimping on Advanced Optimus and G-Sync. I finally jumped over to Asus this gen after four straight generations of MSI GT laptops, the $$$ they were asking this year was just too insane even for a loyalist.
I have a GE68HX with i9-13980HX and 4070 GPU. My main concern is the display...bright at close to 500 nits but the backlight bleed is really bad and i am having a hard time without HDR...a bad oversight! Performance and cooling are good..and you have to manually make your own silent mode since the preset doesnt really work. Its good but not great...a good OLED would have made it great.
Laptop (preferably non-gaming) should start having ports such as power, USB & ethenet (permanently plugged in unless on the move) on the back with battery's LED indicators, 5mm audio, SD card reader& usb on either left or right sides. It'll be cool if power brick could double function as a usb hub with power passthrough. For heaven's sake, get rid of the touch pad to cut cost when there's bluetooth mouse such as logitech g604 does a far better job. Lastly it'll be nice to bring back DVD/CD rom for those of us who CONSUME media on DVD/CD instead of mediocre, expensive streaming such as netflix, Spotify, etc....😢
Hey man, I'm from Venezuela, I'm looking for an option to buy, here in my country there are not much options, but one of them is the Msi raider the one that has a i9, 32gb ram and a 4060 gpu. I will use for editing videos for my youtube channel and for regular gaming, do you think it is worth? there is a more cheaper Asus tuf f15 i think which has a i7 16gb ram and a 4070 gpu, the later is like 300 Usd cheaper. I just want to make a good investment there.
The differences between the high-end 4090 notebooks will be a little small. Honestly, I prefer Alienware's design, but the Raider also looks and feels very right.
The hideously hissing screaming Bride of Frankenstein Laptop. You don't want to take this monstrous ball and chain plastic junk laptop with you! I just saw this at microcenter. Right next to the original Frankenstein monster Titan laptop!!! Both equipped with the heavy Frankenstein 🥾 boot ⚓ anchor battery. A dead rotting plastic corpse of a laptop in your backpack. Bury this thing!!!
@@NotebookcheckReviews Faded poor color saturation..a complete 180 from 2022 raider 67hx OLED. The vector 144hz display almost looks like an old black and white tv display that has been colorized. 45% RGB rating? :\
Gaming esthetic is just early 2000's laptop design that never died.
You think? I think MSI tried something different with this sort of retro-futuristic approach ...
I love it. It looks like the scifi-version of cheap 1980s sports cars.
Yeah. Retro futuristic is very fitting.
Like Cyberpunk 2077^^

NumPud must be 4-columns, not 3 (to be also working machine)
Hey, nice video, I've never seen that Touchpad lights before. Is this feature present in all GE68 models ?, even on Raider GE68 HX 14VGG one ?
Thanks for watching. There was just once SKU with it, the 4070 config of the Raider.

Love my GT77 titan. I can’t ever leave the crazy mini led panel that gets insanely bright
Sweet, I never got the chance to play with the 2023 titan, but I enjoyed the 2022 version quite a bit!
It got a used Maschine witch 1tb 1 Inc ,SSD. Dies that mean, that you can 2x nvme + 1x 3.5 ssd?
Nice! Thanks for the review! 🤓
Sure thing! ;)

When did MandjTV start reviewing laptops?
🙃
... the shirt is : Iriedaily Young Fella (caramel), I also have it.
My fav shirt ever :D
My last ge78 had terrible audio drivers for music production
In terms of latency? As far as I know, a lot of NVIDIA-equipped notebooks struggle with that because of the driver ... but do not quote me on it.
You shouldn't even be using the onboard audio drivers if you're serious about making music so that shouldn't even matter
I would never touch the raider series again. They have serious keyboard flaws. I have one sitting on my desk.
Whats the problem with your keyboard? Thanks for sharing!
Wow. I bought the m18 thinking it was gonna be bounds better. Not that much better than the ge78. Also ge78 is more stylist.

@@NotebookcheckReviews I had both and now that I have a desktop I have to rid myself.

Oh damn. Sorry I totally messed up the score colors in that one .... :/

that is a very emotional reaction to a piece of tech ...
I bought a ge78hx on July, I really enjoy the specs for far. However, I have to say, the red strip with the grill design is ugly AF
Nice! I did not like it on photos initially either, but in person, it kind of grew on me ;)
JUNK DISPLAY ALERT!!!!!
Raider displays and all other Msi displays like the vectors and the stealth models displays for 2023 Absolutely Suck!!!
How do you know?
Watching on my samsung oled in the stealth 15 and just wondering... seems not like junk. :D

Any update?
Please stop calling laptops "puppies"
It's cringe pro max
Imagine not using mini led in 2023
imagine getting 0 battery in 2023
(I guess they don't get much to begin with, only laptop with miniLED with good battery are MBPs)
