Hydro Moc City Hiking in Baguio, Philippines! | Long Distance | Review Part 1 | Dear Merrell...

I spent a lot of time walking around the beautiful city of Baguio City, Philippines. Sometimes I would clock in 20,000 steps per day or roughly 10 miles or 16km. The aquatic river shoe, Merrell Hydro Moc, seemed like a good alternative to the very common Crocs. Though are they really???

Hello i have just bought them in cream color, ive heard that they're more durable than crocs, especially the merrell bloom hydro mocs.
How are they right now? Are they still in good condition? Do you still use them?

Hey. They are dead and buried somewhere in my tools or something. I wish I bought crocs instead. The grip of the hydro mocs failed me miserably. I wouldn’t recommend them, at least not the old models like what I had I guess. Maybe they improved the new batches durability/grip? Though for around $40 and to be tripping on slippery ground was disappointing. Part of me wishes I bought cheap sticky slippers that the locals use instead. 😂

@@johnjimages dude its funny how you replied now after 7 months because i actually ended up buying the hydro mocs myself, and same as you, i actually dont use them anymore. the hydro mocs are not a good product, they have to be worn with socks or else they scratch my legs.
i'm currently using ordinary flip flops right now, i might look into buying crocs as well

@theanimeboy9953 LOL I’m so sorry hahahaha. Time flew and city life is busy so for some reason this channel just got put on pause i guess. Though now im back! And I’ll be making more adventure type clothing content for the glorious aquatic boondock city land.
I heard the igorots like the brand nanyang? It’s more expensive though more durable. I haven’t tried them myself tho.
