Hello. Thank you for watching the video. That's right. I apply "black lacquer (呂色漆：Roiro-Urushi)" over the silver powder. This is because I feel that the silver looks more beautiful if black is applied over the silver powder. It is okay to apply "brown lacquer" such as "(生漆：Ki-Urushi)" or "(木地呂漆：Kijiro-Urushi)", but the finish of the silver powder will turn a little brown.
Hello, gold dust is unfortunately very expensive now and will be for some time. Silver turns black over time. Do you have a video or tips on using other metal powders. I use tin and copper but they both oxidise too, also copper is not recommended to go in contact with food
