Wouldn't go anywhere near the new kona until Hyundai have better batteries and battery replacement process In order had the previous Kona batteries failed after 5000 mile's
My small EV registers the speed limit of nearby 20 mph zones by default, even when I am driving on roads running parallel to these with limits ranging from 30 mph up the way to 60 mph. However, as it is a 2021 car, I am only advised that I am "exceeding" the 20 mph limit on the dashboard rather than being audibly warned.
Going to stick with my Facelift model I recently purchased at half the cost of the new one at 18 months old. Will see what these are going for in 3-4 years time and how reliable they have been. Thanks for the comparison though @nicholasraimo it does look more of an evolution than revolution to me as I recognise a lot of the tech and software from my model.
That was fun. Great video. As a fully paid-up crappy driver, I need all the safety features, sensors and cameras that I can get. It's not just to protect other drivers from me, it's also to protect me from all the drivers on the road who think they are F1 level. But they are just as crappy as me in reality. 😂
nice vid ...I know you don't rate V2L much Nick but to some it is very important....I live alone and use mine on my MG4 EVERY day....I spend most of the time in my Man Shed....it has a TV ...la-z-boy recliner ..TV...surround sound system...PC..PS4 ...astronomy observatory ...3D printers..oil filled radiator for winter and portable AC unit for summer.etc etc. The total load at any one time ...ie heater/TV/PC/Lights is never more than 2.2 kw/hr so well well within the V2L capability.....its just a matter of plugging in the car and switching a changeover switch and has worked brilliantly for 11 months now. So basically my whole elec consumption (except the stuff in the house like fridge/freezer CCTV system, Immersion heater etc) is run from the car which is charged up at 7.5p per Kw/hr from 11.30 pm to 5.30 am ...(I switch back to mains at 11.30 each night) ....instead of the 30p per hour day rate. Also its great down at my RC model aircraft club allowing me to charge my LiPo batts for all day flying. So as you see for some it is VERY important...I wouldn't buy another EV without V2L.
V2L is a time waste we shud be looking at V2H and G only this is just a time fudge form OEM to fool us they have done something. I had a V2L device that works from Cigar lighter sockets on ANY car thats how behind V2L is as this I brought about 10 years ago
well its fine for me ...i too have an inverter that runs off a 12v cigar socket but try running 2.5kw off it! please tell me the link to the one you had 10 years ago would love to see how many watts it will run without blowing it's/the cars fuse or melting its wire : ) ...yes v2h would be better but what vehicle has it?...any? I am talking about now not the future. Like I say V2L is perfect for my use so what's wrong with that? @@NicolasRaimo

Its an EU regulation, every new car is going to get it 🤷
Correct
Awesome editing :D
😂 I had the idea I feared it wouldn’t work
@@NicolasRaimoAll the edits worked super well and were so fun bro, gotta do it again some time. Cheers.
Do you think think you need the 19 inch wheels or will the 17 inch do?
Do you like style or range?
Thanks for encouraging us to get a Tesla, good work Hyundai 😂

very nice review - Kona has always been a very nice car - Dan from fully charge drove one for years

You can turn it off each drive but once engine goes off and on your have to turn it off again it’s an EU thing for all new cars
