    You are simply the best I’ve found on YT for explaining complex processes and molecules in a way that’s very easy to digest- you are so appreciated! ❤️

    Thank you Doctor A.,
    I've been on alpha lapoic acid for a couple years now. I am my own doctor for the most part by research through professionals like yourself. What is fundamentally true is that God has given us what we need. Yes including intelligent people who share their knowledge. Iam so grateful for the spirit you show. First of all your courage to speak the truth. Then tanacity to share it freely. These are traits of great people. Still I know love exceeds them all.
    1 Corithians 13:8 "Love never fails."
    Made in God's image we are! You knew that! You project it too.😊

    ALA, due to its unique Sulphur atom's dual position in the ALA molecule, is a chelator and a good one at that. If you have any mercury in your brain the ALA will grab it and start taking it away. The chelation protocol is such that when ALA reaches its (half)lifetime the ALA disappears and a new dose of ALA takes over. If you do not do the "bucket-brigade" with ongoing specifically timed dosing the mercury gets dropped and could make the situation worse. Any compound with a *single* Sulphur atom also attracts mercury, push-pull it around, but cannot hold on to it because it cannot grab it. Sorry, kids, mercury is a top neurotoxin and deserves much respect. There are two kinds of ALA just to make things more complex. The bottom line: Get experienced heavy metal detox assistant/guide/consultant. And just to make it more interesting, ALA is the *only* chelator, which, because it is fat soluble, can help you with mercury that is in your brain and (are you thinking?) should be in the late chelation phase. I have undergone mercury chelation and I am not a doctor but I know docs like to send you to a psychiatrist. This tells you they do not know.
    Oh, remember respect? Before you do anything get *all* your amalgams replaced with white (ceramic) fillings in a proper (safe) way.

    From past experience I would say beware of you have alot of heavy metals, LPS from dental issues, and mold exposures coupled with nutrients deficiencys/high estrogen. Its very important to insure phase 2 and phase 3 detoxification are working well before dugging in to phase 1. (Using a plumbing analogy) make sure your sewage waste pipes are clear and flowing before showering, flushing the bm's in the toilet, and washing hands in the sink.

      Any vitamin or antioxidant in the R form is the natural occurring form and is more bioavailable (better absorbing and efficient) than the "s" synthetic form.

    I have MS, and ALA was one of the first supplements I started taking after I was diagnosed. I found that along with Acetyl L-carnitine, it was helpful with the fatigue. I have CKD, so it’s good to know it is helpful for the kidneys. I will have to take it more faithfully.

      I’ve found that these really helped me with neuropathy and nerve health. I also take coenzyme q10 which seems to really improve many nerve issues.

    Clip from a Dr. Berkson Podcast:
    Podcast Highlights:
    5:02: And he said he was studying alpha lipoic acid as a wonder drug for the reverse diabetes, adult onset diabetes, mellitus, and diabetic complications. But when they give it to people with diabetes, they seem to regenerate their livers.
    5:23: I injected them at this big hospital with the lipoic acid. Within two weeks, they regrew their livers, and I was amazed.
    8:00: …we published two papers on 79 people who had end-stage liver disease, and we gave them nothing but intravenous for lipoic acid.Within a short time, within one month, 75 out of 79 regenerated their livers.
    9:19: Well, lipoic acid is a natural molecule. Every cell of your body produces it. And it’s very small amounts. And what it does, it turns your food to energy. It’s a key to getting energy from your food, into mitochondrion, the energy factory of the cell.
    10:52: It’s a stimulator of good mitochondrial function. And that makes cells very healthy, and they regenerate. And at the same time, this poisons cancer cells.
    12:46: God has given your body amazing restorative powers if you will put the right natural molecules back in your body, either the molecules or the hormones you used to make in adequate amounts but have declined.

    Many ALA supplements include biotin. Why is that and is it preferable to go that route or ALA alone? I am 63 with no kidney damage, I’m just trying to support my liver & digestive system and boost thiol levels. What are recommended dosages with that goal?
    Thank you! 💛

    Great vid! One question though: What is the best way to take ALA? It messes up my stomach. I started at 600mg which was fine for a while. But eventually it started causing a burning sensation and digestion issues. I've worked my way all the way down to 100 mg on an empty stomach, but even that started causing me issues, eventually. Can a person take it with food - would that help?

    That's great, thanks. Please can you share your thoughts on taking "fat soluble" substances - do they always have to be taken with food, or does the body already have enough fat inside to absorb them?
    The instructions on my current ALA are to take without food on an empty stomach.
    It remains on my Top 10 "Desert Island" long COVID supplements list.

    5 decades of Lyme & Co here. You gave me the confidence to use Thiols and herbs to bust the biofilms .....nobody could have prepared me for what followed, living hell (bedridden) for 3 weeks, I actually felt the cysts/biofilms break apart and then within hours they regrouped, one forced its way up through my ear canal into my head, ever since that my memory is not right and I have tinnitus type rushing in my head. Not to be deterred I will be repeating the treatment with lower amounts of the herbs. HUGE thanks from England because the useless NHS here do not recognise chronic Lyme.

    Could you explain why fat soluble supplements (substances)are beneficial? And I do share your videos ❤thank you

    • @Needless2say
      @Needless2say 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      In the video he explained that ala helps with permeability (crossing fatty membranes) Getting nutrients in and toxins out is important across membranes. Its also important to say that it is a nutrient in the mitochondria, and that some toxins are lipid(fat) based or soluble. When the body has high loads of toxins and or alot stored in a person's fat, ala can facilitate its removal and can bind up heavy metals as a chelating agent assisting the body in its removal of them.

      High testosterone does not cause hair loss - it is a form of T on sensitive people follicles.

    • @32GaugeSlug
      @32GaugeSlug 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@kidvision564 Well, DHT does, which is a form of T. I'm quite sensitive and understand my body. I would say R-ALA massively amps up my DHT levels.
