A castle abandoned for 7 years, because no one else had the balls to go back in there. The few guards it had left were so scared a rock shooed them off. Geralt? He just said "fuck" and fought that thing for 8 hours.

The first ones called were the some Knowing Ones, after talking or cursing between themselfs only one tought it possible to lift the curse and he told them the way, but he ended up dead trying to lift it. After that the king decided since there was a way to lift it he would not let anyone kill the Striga without trying. After that others went there to kill it specially Witchers, but when they meet the king and heard it was not to ble slain it was to be cured of the curse they gave up.(Since the only way was to stay all night with the Striga and not let her into the sarcophagus before that time, without killing it or harming it in any lethal way which is crazy knowing how strong and fast it is even for a witcher) So basicly you are correct that Geralt is brave since he acepted it and i think the same, but wrong in the aspect that no one else tried it before him.
Nearly every other banquets have people killing each other. In skellige one, there was beasts. I guess only Radovid's and Empire Emyr's banquets are the strict ones.
The show has its flaws but overall I really enjoyed it (I read the books and played the games). You can really tell how much Cavill loves to play this role.
@@PeacePham1991 despite being visually stunning and having excellent acting, the entire first season was flawed due to its unorthodox pacing and plotting, the first half the season constantly cuts between 3 different parts of the timeline in attempt to set up all 3 main characters individually which unfortunately made it incoherent and distracting, even if you have good divided attention it's still a mess and didn't serve the story as they intended. However it doesn't change the fact that it's still probably one of the best shows made, you just have to make it through the first season then the second season will reward you for it. It won't be enjoyable for everyone but it is unique and there's alot to admire in it.

Sooo recently in movies and shows 'strong' female characters must be with female lovers. But rarely do you see a strong/leading female character with a weaker/equal male character. But you see this queen as feminine but also strong and has /will have a strong man her side but doesn't lose her strength to the man. Because this takes actual decent writing. Making someone look strong, by making everyone around them look weak, is the lazy, easy way. Also because this was adapted from a story started in the early 90s, when everything wasn't so PC, and people wrote characters first, and didn't write sexual identities and genders first, then build characters around those things. Back then, if a character was gay, or a woman, that was only a small aspect of their character. If a witcher was gay, he was a witcher. Now, if a witcher was gay, he'd be a gay man, who just happened to also be a witcher, but their entire identity would be built around their sexuality first, their occupation second.

you do know even Witcher Silver swords are just steel ones that are PLATED with silver right ? Anyhow while silver is better for monster hunting most of them can be taken down with regular steel.

As far as i am aware manticores in the books aren't vulnerable to silver, and a steel sword will do fine

Sooo recently in movies and shows 'strong' female characters must be with female lovers. But rarely do you see a strong/leading female character with a weaker/equal male character. But you see this queen as feminine but also strong and has /will have a strong man her side but doesn't lose her strength to the man. Why can't we have more of that? why does Hollywood think that being a strong women means you must be lesbian or something ( no offense ) just saying ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Isnt that the point of raising women up ?
Because Hollywood also has the agenda of degrading men in the process. By doing it the way they do, they're showing women to be the pinnacle and men worthless.

I understood ur point although u could have worded it better. I have noticed that too. Strong female characters have to be lesbians. Here we see a smart man who loves his woman impressed by her ability and her strength not threatened or intimidated. It is very important to show such relationships.

Because this takes actual decent writing. Making someone look strong, by making everyone around them look weak, is the lazy, easy way.
Also because this was adapted from a story started in the early 90s, when everything wasn't so PC, and people wrote characters first, and didn't write sexual identities and genders first, then build characters around those things.
Back then, if a character was gay, or a woman, that was only a small aspect of their character. If a witcher was gay, he was a witcher. Now, if a witcher was gay, he'd be a gay man, who just happened to also be a witcher, but their entire identity would be built around their sexuality first, their occupation second.

armonic xbox manticores only appear in the first two games and in both games they have only one tail.
If we’re lucky, CDPR will add it in a future DLC for the Witcher 3 and expand on hybrid species like they did with vampires in the Blood and Wine DLC.
