Not sure what is wrong to have halo vehicles in a lineup. Sure they get a disproportionate amount of airtime versus pleb models but that showcase and marketing does help sway people to the brand even if they're getting something more work focused.
Stop making these trucks that aren’t even practical to be used by, and/or able to be afforded by 90% of society. Basically showing off a luxury buggy that only the royal family class of England can drive around while us peasant serfs drool over something we can’t have.
The great thing about being in the west is that there are millions of people that can easily afford this truck. I can easily afford the truck but can never afford a 10 bedroom mansion on the coast of California. It’s all relative.

These trucks like the Raptor R are definitely a toy for wealthy people but it’s still fun watching you guys put them through their paces! And dam is that a good looking truck!
So Ford continues with the 5.0 Mustang and the Raptor R, while Dodge kills off the Hellcats and TRX. Glad to see at least someone still wanting to make V8's.
Wow that fuel econ is actually much better than I expected driving off-road. I have a Gen 1 and I have the same average mileage on mix of highway and trails. If it ever comes to Costa Rica I'm sold!
I have a 2013 SVT 6.2 L it’s about 12.4 miles to the gallon California so I’d be spending anywhere between 120 and $180 per fill up specially in the summertime. Our gas prices are nearly 7 to 88 dollars a gallon more like $220 for a fill.
I live in North Bay and was just on the VMUTS on the long weekend. Lots of trails. I hope you were shown the Mica Mine and went in the caves while you were out there. The truck would have made it there. It's funny seeing the locations on the trails and recognizing them especially the sand pit you were playing in. Great video and amazing truck!
Those "37" tires aren't even close to being that according to some other videos I've seen. Someone needs to standardize tire sizes ASAP! GREAT review guys! 👍
Nice video but I can’t believe this truck cost $150,000. It’s ridiculous need we need a work trucks not fancy and expensive trucks and nobody can afford to buy this trucks and has a lot of plastic inside not good quality for that price it’s my simple opinion
The regular Raptor is perfectly well enough; this R is simply absurd … would opt for this one if it was $20K less. Honestly fine with a standard Raptor for everyday use. Great review 👍🏻🇺🇸🇨🇦
Guys , I love your channel and been watching since the beginning. Great job as usual but complaining about gas mileage in that truck is like complaining that a Ferrari sucks at towing . It’s not what it was made for, you said it perfectly, it’s a toy . Nothing more, nothing less. If I could afford one , I’d definitely have one . That’s my rant, keep up the great content !! Big money at the dealership and gas station, and everything else is expensive (food, utilities, housing, insurance, education, etc.) .... pass. Looks nice tho
These high horsepower trucks seem to appeal to the casual pavement princess buyers. For me and other real truck guys the torque and off road capabilities are the factors. Not impressed by this one due to the transmission and cost. The price point and tow capacity ain’t mathing😟

It has. Whipple has a race kit for 2000 hp but it costs a lot of money. Plus 2000 is way too much for most mere mortals in a desert truck.
My Dream truck but at 153K plus Tax. Only a dream. Now lets see the Tacoma TRD pro or Ranger Raptor at the same trail.

The K03’ haven’t been approved for the 37” tires yet. It is for the 35’s which is on the Ranger Raptor.
