Everything happens in the now. Surrender to the now. Accept reality. Let go. Don't dwell in the past nor worry of the future too much. Focus on what you can do right now.
Thank you so much! I feel like I needed this. Great content full of value. 🤗

All problems are illusions of the mind, so much wisdom in 1 quote

Save the video now, and whenever you feel negative watch it. We need to be reminded constantly. It's the pain body, the ego, the egoic mind , your thoughts conspiring to make you suffer.

Great pragmatic summary, as an actual climber I've always grasped the being present , living in the moment principle. However I'd like to mention using the past is not always negative e.g a pragmatic application of this is used by myself when preparing to start a hard climb, I will often recall a past successful ascent to instill confidence in the NOW. You will commonly see this in other sports e.g athletics. Similarly, recalling a hilarious experience whilst with friends at a dinner instills joy into the moment.. likewise for future nothing wrong in looking forward to a holiday or goal, manifestation. Just don't dwell there. it's a choice the mind is a great instrument but it is not the master. You can judiciously use Past or future states...but predominately focus on the NOW and be in the moment.

I found the book had to understand at first. So I kept reading it and listening to it. Just like anything that’s difficult, you keep trying. Every time I listened to it and read it’s like investing in a stock with nice dividends, I keep getting paid. Anyone that has any negative feelings towards the book because it was challenging to grasp needs the book more than anyone.

This video is 10000 times more digestible of the book, which I found very ripetitive, tedious and aiming nowhere. Thanks for sharing!

I see a bright anti-social postal worker living in the apartment who seems to match whits with my wave length however he still avoids everyone. He understands the nut shell psychology but has no intention to appreciate someone twice the age who came through college as I did who thought 5 years back that self-actualization was a place one might to get when everything else in life has been acquired. This new information needs to be practiced with a friendly neighbor. "The next time you encounter negative thoughts, observe them. That is, listen to the voice in your head, feel the emotion, observe the reaction. Do not feed the thoughts with analysis, do not judge, just be there as the watching presence as they come and go". Be neighborly, a good old fashioned care for one another needs to survive the information age....

But how does this work say like if you're playing a game of chess and one has to think several steps ahead?, how is living in the "now" accomplish a win, or would winning not be the goal?🤔

A rehashed teachings of buddha with a twist we now know as tolle. Buddha can file a case of plagiarism. 😉🌱

They're not the teachings of buddha jesus or tolle. They're just teachings once upon a time a man had a stomach ache he went to visit 2 different doctors and each of them told him the same thing.
