So glad to see you have bought this important information to peoples attention. Can not possibly say how many times people have said "oh so you can't play video games then?" When they hear I have epilepsy. Photosensitive epilepsy is a very uncommon thing and will not always cause trouble from playing a game.

Some video games have been known to produce seizures due strobing and 3D effects. I can't honestly say whether it was the television or the video games that caused the 14 year old to have a seizure but some video games have been known to do so.

I don't remember that particular story but there were at least a hundred others just like it at the time. Blame Pokemon, but don't blame people that don't have the sense to look where the hell they are walking. It sounds even dumber if you've actually played the game too because the pokemon mostly bunch up in areas where there is constant cell usage and they tend not to walk around very far. So you don't need to keep walking when you find one, it's actually better to stand still while you chuck your balls at it's face. Then add to that the fact that your phone vibrates when you get close to a pokemon, so you don't have to keep your placid glassy bovine like eyes glued to the screen constantly. :/
Reminds me of the George Carlin quote. "Think of how dumb the average person is. Now realize that half of the world is dumber than them."

So him being encouraged to switch from speed to speed suggest that it's written by someone who have no experience with drugs at all. The supposed effects of the speed is also extremely dubious.
