Thanks for watching 😊 we have some exciting months coming up , the 2.9 is 2 years in the making and I'm super excited to hear the 6-1 headers as there something new for me
@@Grooty79 all good! I sent an engine a few years ago to Victoria to a bloke at 6s engine services and lost everything. Managed to get a setup now but planning to commence a build very soon.
@@orionwolf1764 I can be found on Facebook on the Australian e30 page, easiest way to direct you to finding me without giving my deets to scammers on here,
Thanks for subscribing , the intake is only 1mm over so 43mm bottom of the steel seat is approx 39mm across, a 44 or 45 mm intake would equal more flow but reality the limits of these heads are the castings, most flow I know of is 228cfm through the intake, unsure of lift but I think it was 14mm
The head was CNC ported and flowed 200cfm at 13mm, if I have time I'll get it retested and maybe do some small changes to see if I can gain some more flow
@@xristodoulos88 yes there rhd rollers, and only time too much cfm can be an issue is if the engine underneath it is too small and can't make use of the port volume, the 3 m20s I'm doing ATM all have same cnc heads but all 3 will have different cams
@@Grooty79 ok thanks for the explanation and the details provided.. i also have a m20stoker 2.9 (u can see some videos at my channel) and i want to use a "new" head .. where did you port it? Usa europe? Thanks
Intake is a Rhd item but IE and Turner sell a similar, Rhd doesn't sell these anymore and had a spare set, great intake after hours of grinding, and were running 48mm dcoe webers
@@Grooty79 good to know. I'm running welded up and ported dBilas intake combined with 194cfm head. But clearly the dBilas intake is not the best baseline for a race car build. Probably 3D printed version next.
Hooray! Sorted!, but more money that is really sad and annoying. Also as you say more knowledge parted out, so long as you have someone who knows *how* to do the work in the first place.
Big thanks, for making interesting M20 videos..

Do you do customer builds in Australia? Are we able to get an engine built?
Yes I have a small shop in Adelaide, I have a few engines on the go ATM and I'm not quick as I'm extremely thorough 😊
